The Mandalorian S2 has been pretty good. Not without issues, such as filler episodes and constant side quests for the main character, but it's a fun enough watch. Currently rewatching Rome which was a BBC possibly HBO thing about 15 years ago. Saw some of the Small Axe things also on BBC, which have been variable but interesting Also went on a festive films binge and watched Gremlins again, Better Watch Out, Rare Exports, The Christmas Chronicles 2 and Joyeux Noel
Watched WW84. I enjoyed it but I can see why a lot will not. A not too subtle homage to the Donner Superman in tone.
is she still looking hot or is she starting to go? also can you please answer why the guy that got blown up in world war 1 is going around with her in 1984?
I'm loving it... its tongue in cheek but not ****ing over the originals ... and I'd still spend a wet weekend in bed with Kumiko..
Finished 3 seasons of Start Up 9/10 The Last Tycoon ...very good but got cancelled after first season?grrrrr. Originally on bbcrap was Trust Me which is now on Prime , very good.
Not quite true. Newcastle offered £18m, which was twice as much as Liverpool sold him for the year before. Owen was desperate for Liverpool to match it, but Rafa said he wouldn't pay more than what Owen went for (as did the board). No way was Owen worth £18m at the time, and in the next year's WC he totally twatted himself with that injury - the same one Ox and Virgil got, I fear to say.
Anyone seen Tin Star Liverpool? I really enjoyed the first series, the second was okay, but I watched the first episode of this last series and.... just seems to be cliche after cliche. Pity, as it's a fine cast. Does it get any better?
Very far fetched. I watched all the episodes mainly just to see my old haunts. You might as well finish it...don't want to give the ending away by saying any more.
Its weird because the 1st series started off being fairly serious but over the next 2 it seemed to intentionally go over the top and sort of parodyish.
Just watched Silenced - The hidden story of Britains disabled which was on BBC2 last night . Have to say it bought back some memories like being dumped in the luggage compartment in the guards vans on the train , the fact that many places seemed to think that disabled people regularly self combust .
i kept telling them but they didn't seem convinced . Some of the conversations about being a fire hazard were just ****ing bizarre tbh .
