    Yeah, there was a slight gap of 22 years! <laugh>
    We might be the only regular side that managed to avoid defeat to the Swans during their time in the Premier League.
    P: 14, W: 11, D: 3, L: 0. A real bogey side for them. They even chucked in an FA Cup defeat at the end for good measure.

    This must be the ultimate banana skin - The BBC have been very quick to emphasise that this is the biggest gap in league positions between 2 teams in the competitions history and the majority of their viewers are going to be tuning in hoping to see the biggest upset in history.

    I know that Jose will have all that drummed into them, but it is vital that we take the game seriously from minute 1, they will be fired up and the adrenalin will be get them through the early stages if we let them settle. I am not sure who we will see in our shirts today but whoever goes out there must know that this is a match where we get no credit for winning and complete embarrassment if we lose.

    Yeah it’s really a no win situation for us today. Win and it’s to be expected and we’re the bad guys for beating little Marine, lose and we’re the embarrassment of the country, Europe in fact.

    I expect us to win comfortably to be honest though, even with what I expect to be a fully rotated side. Vinigoal hattrick and a Jack Clarke masterclass!

    This 100% and should be the core of Jose's messaging. Players can get their careers determined by these games - positively and negatively.
    In Spurs case, 2nd tier players that don't perform today are certainly unlikely to ever feature again.
    At least, you would hope that would be the case.
