He looks the part but is technically poor and not as strong as he looks. Also look at Fleetwood first goal pathetic effort. We are not good enough to carry players in games so starting him is no from me.
Like I say, there's a player lurking in there but agree about not having the capacity to carry anyone.
These are games we need to win, so hopefully, we can perform to our best. I hope both Flores and Whyte get at least 30 minutes, looking forward to seeing them. Scott needs to get a run of games now, players need a few games to get up to speed and build confidence. I'm sure there is a player in there, he just needs to get a few games under his belt. Looking forward to the games.
Honeyman shouldn't be playing out wide. Scott. Maybe he should get up to speed via U23's? He's had chances and has looked nothing like good enough for 1st team. Ingram Coyle Burke Greaves Elder Doc Smalwood Emmanuel Honeyman Wilks Magennis With a very strong bench. Coyle / Emmanuel won't happen so Emmanuel RB, KLP out wide .... err oh hang on. Mayer then.
Id say the one thing he is is technically good. More lacks application and a bit of strength. Still only 20. Did he have covid? Might explain how weak he looked against Fleetwood, but like magennis who had no energy at all.
It's GM's Hull City so I always expect the worst it makes defeats at home to the likes Shrewsbury easier to take.
Three new lads in the squad.... Flores trained, so most likely to feature? Dunno how much other two, Whyte and Crowley have played this season.....
I thought Crowley hadnt signed yet on the dotted line ? Don't think we'll see many changes from the last league game .. would love to see a centre forward coming in but can't see that one happening. Anticipating a tight affair .. and think we'll scrape a win. By the odd goal. Shame KLP situation prevents him from starting but I do have to giggle about the p1ssing contest on the other thread .. are we allowed to mention handbags these days ???
At last an opposition manager with something nice to say. Hull City are the best we've faced, says Blackpool boss Neil Critchley
I vaguely remember McCann saying something along the lines of 'he was one of the ones it affected more than others, he got it quite badly'
I just don't understand posts like this Support the lads ? We are all sat at home , I'm pretty sure they can't hear anything or have time to read a message board in the middle of a game Now if you were talking about fans at a game getting behind the team that's a different scenario completely
