    I’m sure that’s the case on here. I’d certainly pay down my life for any of you...anonymously of course...and not necessarily using my own actual life...

    To be fair, teams with less success will always on average have more faithful fanbases, because they don't have any plastics muddying the waters.

    It is loyal to each other not the club. Our support has always been like yo-yo back to the 1950s.

    You watch them out of pure love for the club not the continual winning ( league titles, cups etc)
    Mind you the odd win here and there does help !!!
    A little bit like my golf game... 100 attempts to hit that one ****ing beauty!!!!

    The article isn't about loyalty to the club it is about the supposed loyalty of a club's fan's to each other.

    I would still agree with the article then - we might absolutely tear into one another all the time, but we always defend the club and fanbase against opposition fans.
