Only given 18 months with a team in transition, bit harsh but it's the Scum so sympathy levels at zero.

Countdown to someone on here saying he'd be a good bet to replace Warbs. Might as well suggest he brings in John Terry as his assistant while you're at it.

(secret confession, I've always thought Fat Frank was a decent player and would be a good manager. There, I've said it)

I want that job. Spend £200 million. Play a decent international striker Werner as a right winger. Buy two wingers that can play in that position and give them limited time. And last 18 months....if that. If I got the job expect a couple of loanees coming your way MW..... And I would expect to get Chelsea out of the position they are currently in. In all honesty it would be lower but I will gloss over that bit in the interview.
And to think that last Monday was classed as Blue Monday.......the New Order for Fat Frank to go came a week late

I'd have him. I don't think we're in a position to be picky and tribal about it.

However, I think Warburton has been saved by those two recent wins. I've got a feeling he'll be with us for the rest of the season.

But Lampard was a good player and, at times, has done pretty well as manager. I think this is a strange season in the EPL. Not only are Chelsea in transition but the whole league seems to be in a bit of a transition phase.

I wish we could somehow find out what the financial conditions really are like at QPR. What really is our budget and outlook for new players? What is our budget for manager contracts? Can we make attractive offers to higher quality managers? And is it worth splurging to avoid relegation?

I don't necessarily think Lampard is the answer, by the way.

At first I laughed and sent out a message to my mate but on reflection it is a bit harsh to sack a club hero at this time of weirdness. He is young and English and will probably go on to better things. Typical Chelsea and an owner who want instant success?

This is why I am hesitant about the like of Ainsworth returning to the club as manager. If it works out, great...club legend as a player and a manager...if it doesn't, your status as a club legend will forever be slightly tainted by the memories of the job you did as a manager. If one of our legends, like Ainsworth, Ollie (again!) or Bircham returned that would be my concern...in this instance though, it has happened to Chelsea...so I'll have a little giggle and get on with my day.

Heart over head rarely works out. Sure the pay off will make him feel better.

We can feel less guilty about getting on his back when we aren’t in the playoffs with one of the smallest budgets in the league. I like it.

No. It’s doomed to fail. If he can be arsed with it rather than enjoying his vast millions and doing the odd bit of tv work he will probably go on to be a good manager. If I was him I’d just play golf.

Lampard was promoted to the top managerial table too quickly imo. Let him take on a struggling club and prosper on a shoestring budget, and he may be ready

Yeah after all the crap I have given him over the years... I would be a right hypocrite welcoming him to Rangers. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Yes. He did well bringing on their youngsters and did a good job at Derby before that. Clearly not the finished article by any stretch but got them playing some decent football at times. How many weeks have passed since they were on Liverpool's heels in second spot?

There's a middle ground isn't there...between club legend, people who have no great previous association with the club, and then Bosingwa, who has a negative previous association with the club.
