    He's just playing in the U23s. He's a winger, he's got a lot of people ahead of him.

    He signed for Gainsborough Trinity at the start of this season, but he hasn't featured since October AFAIK. Matty Dixon and Luke Lofts are also there, Curtis Woodhouse is the manager.

    McAuley Snelgrove has signed a professional contract with the club. CM, decent prospect, good passing range.

    That being said, we do have a defender called Jake Leake. I don't fancy having a defence with a Leake in it.

    Signed Cartwright from Grimsby around 6-7 years ago.
    My lad trialled there before Harvey joined City and he wasn't just a top goalie for his age, but one of the better outfield players.

    But he's not played or made the squad for the 23s once. It's a weird one unless he got an injury or something

    I posted recently about info from a dog walking acquaintance. He said two or three youngsters had been offered new improved deals. Here we are; Andy Smith and David Robson.

    Cheers for that. as a youngster he was head and shoulders the best of his year group, same age group as tymon but tymon kicked on and he never.

    I think the lad's worth more than Gainsborough Trinity tbh. He went to Sunderland and seemed to be doing ok for their u23s on a trial basis and then Covid kicked in and that was the end of it. I was amazed to see he'd dropped down that far, but these are strange times indeed. A lot of young players are going to get a rough ride in the coming months and years. Sadly a lot of lads who should have successful careers may fall by the wayside. It's awful at the moment for everybody but I fear for young people in this.

    He's faired better than Lewis Ritson. He was supposed to go on trial at Triestina in Serie B, but ended up at Whitby Town instead.
