Whoever wrote that is going to be a top, top journalist one day.

My favourite paragraph is the one that says Jannson has been carrying the ankle problem for quite some time and the injury is similar to the one Koch suffered to his knee in the game against Liverpool.

Now, I’m no surgeon but I can see a problem with that.

So true , Leeds usually go for injury prone players such as Lloriente

    What ?

You may remember that we pulled out of a deal at the last minute for Michael Cuisance because a concern over potential injury issues that came to light during his medical. Llorente is an unfortunate exception, no way could Leeds be faulted for his lack of playing time - going for injury prone players is NOT something we do.

Perhaps you need to learn the difference between a long term injury (Koch, Forshaw) and a player with a history of injuries ?

As I said before lloriente is injury prone , he went down again against Newcastle we need to sell him no good having a player injured all time , as his previous club found out , he was out lots of time for them that's why they got rid

    Hi All first post.
    What's your views on Alioski?
5 months of his contract left and it looks like the club are wanting to keep him from the rumours.
Love the lad on a personal view. He also is versatile and can play a few various positions. but, on football terms he's a bit in and out.
Depends on the contract offer but to me he's not a player to take us forward.
If we are building a squad to improve up this league and want to challenge the top 10 or 6 is offering players new contracts like Alioski the way?
We are with the big boys now and loyalty is all good and well but is he good enough to take us forwards?
We say we only sign players who are good enough to be in the first team is Alioski a first team player for the next 2-3 seasons?

I understand its crunch time on his contract situation do we stick or twist?

    Welcime mate

Alioski for me is worth sitting on the bench but isnt a first team Prem regular. We stay up we need to buy at keast another 3 top players which means at least 3 squad players need moving on as it looks like Bielsa is staying so he only works with 18 and some U23s. Alioski Kiko, Roberts to start with

No contract in June, Alioski goes free.

Alioski signs a contract, and we have a saleable asset, should someone wish to sign him.

Bottom line: what Bielsa says: goes. #ibwt

Depends who we're lining up to sign but he's a squad player for me, certainly no left back. Love his attitude but you can't run a team on attitude alone.

If we risked going straight back down then we’d need to keep him. Like you say he is a very likeable guy. I hate seeing him at LB as he hasn’t got the skill set, his position should be attacking wide out on the left but sadly for him we have a ton of options in front of him.

He isn’t PL standard, he’s doing a part keeping us out of the relegation spaces, I say let him run his contract down and thank him for his time come the end of the season.

Well Hearing the presser it seems the club are waiting on Alioski.
If Alioski plays ball the club will follow Bielsa has said.
It's a big decision for G. Does he want to stay and likely play second fiddle by sitting on the bench when everyone is fit and and as we improve the squad.
Yes he is playing right now but looks certain to be the one to make way when people are fit.
Or does he want to start afresh and try and play for someone in a starting Eleven week in week out.
It's all good fans saying we want him to stay he's a decent backup. but, does G want to be a backup?
He's an International. he needs to play games. I know plenty players would love to get a decent wage and sit on the bench and stroll around in the reserves but I don't think G in that type of player. I remember an interview when he was out the team saying it hurts not playing as I just love playing Football but said he understood the situation..
He has a big decision to make which is understandable this could be his last decent big contract of his career wherever it maybe.

I’m struggling to remember a transfer window where we never signed or sold anyone..... With just over a day left (closes 11pm Monday) will that change?

I'm OK with that, January is not a good time to buy.
    We are (nearly) safe.
Let's do business in the summer when we know if fans will be back, the extent of the 49's investment etc.

Rafa Mujica has signed for Las Palmas but on loan to the end of the season. Hope he does a job and gets a full time gig because it looks to be over for him at Leeds
