Just had my jab. The Pfizer jab. Warned to expect sore arm and to get tested if fever and headache for more than two days. So pleased to read the experience of others who have had no problem with Pfizer.
Had the Oxford jab yesterday at 9am. Last night I got the shivers a bad head and sweating. Overnight our lass said I was boiling but when I woke this morning I felt ok apart from the headache. I have felt lethargic all day a little bit like having a hangover after a heavy night out. Hopefully be fine tomorrow. Worth the bit of chew.
Science News who just report scientific findings with no political agenda. For the record I will be accepting the vaccine even if it is this one. https://www.sciencenews.org/article...-novavax-vaccine-results-south-africa-variant
I get the 2nd jab this week (The Chinese one) really not sure about it, but I guess its better than nothing...have to say after the 1st jab I had zero after effects and my mates who have had the 2nd...the same...so thats a plus.
Some interesting data coming from the latest scientific research findings. https://www.newscientist.com/articl...=social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1612247896
update: 1st jab mid-day yesterday (the 1st of feb) had a rough night mainly due to a sore arm so had to stay on my left side and i am the type to alternate left/right many times in a night. today feeling a tad 'not right' but that is a regular thing since my heart attack so hard to tell if vaccine is the cause, next couple of days will tell i guess but nowt 'dramatic' to report, i got the 'astrozenca'(?) version and could be 12 weeks for my 2nd jab.
There's been a lot of debate about anti-Vaxxers on the Internet lately, and I am now coming forward to stand up and say that I'm firmly in the anti-Vax camp. There, I've said it ! I have my reasons, like many anti-Vaxxers, but it's important that everyone approaches this sensitive topic armed with the information that they know to be true. I know my truth and I have first hand experience that backs up my stance. I had a Vax once and it was the noisiest, most inefficient vacuum cleaner ever, and I will never buy one again. All of these armchair experts have clearly never experienced the disappointment of having to go over the same piece of carpet again and again to pick up the same piece of fluff, and having messy children there is a lot more fluff than you think. I am firmly in the Dyson camp, and I will not be told otherwise, so there
