    What do we need ?
It sounds like we are looking to ship more players out in this window, whether that means loaning them out till their contracts expire or selling them if we can.
    Rumours
    Seri to Galatasaray
Others out on loan - McDonald, Johansen, Hector, Ream, Knockaert (may not stay at Forest), Le Marchand

Last season we started to buy some of our loan players like BDCR and Cavaleiro to free up squad slots, so far rumoured that Parker wants to get Loftus-Cheek on permanent. Not sure Why ? Haven't seen anything myself

Paper Rumours so far don't see to mention a Striker yet.
    OZAN TUFAN MF Fenerbahce.
    SIRIKI DEMBÉLÉ LW Peterborough United
    KAI WAGNER LB Philadelphia
    ALFIE DOUGHTY LW/LB Charlton
JORGE FERNANDES CB Vitoria de Guimares
    MATHIAS NORMANN MF FC Rostov

Re a striker, I've read we are looking to sign Dwight Gayle, it wouldn't be a proper transfer window without us being linked to Gayle! Maybe this is the year??

Just a copy of my related post from the match thread.

I suspect that we will look at whether we can sign either RLC or Lemina permanently, just to free up a PL loan spot. Beyond that, there should be quite a few outgoings (just from players who are not even in the 25) and not many incomings. We need a striker and that's the only thing we really need. If we can upgrade some peripheral players (such as Kebano or Kamara) that's a bonus, but we absolutely need someone with pace to finish some of the counter attacking chances we create.

Apparently we are looking at Josh King again, but his wage demands are ridiculous, if reports are to be believed of course. He's meant to have asked Everton for £120k a week <yikes>

Lack of goals is going to be a big problem for us, and with absolutely no idea whats going on with Mitro this season, we need someone in sooner rather than later.

So transfer deadline day today! Will we sign anyone? Hasn't seemed very likely so far but could we get a shock today??

The early rumours so far is that we are back in for Josh King at Bournemouth and also in talks with Bordeaux for ex Sunderland striker Josh Maja.

Looks like we are determined to get a ‘Josh’ at the club today.

Not saying that either is likely, but allowing myself to hope we get a striker in today, I think I'd prefer Maja. I think King is still living off the 1 good season he had like 4-5 years ago, he hasn't scored a league goal at all this season.

I think Maja is more a Parker sort of player, still young and rough around the edges, but very talented, much like Lookman. He has pace too, would suit the way we are trying to play with pace on the break with Lookman, Cav, RLC etc. A different option from what we already have in Mitro.

Looking more likely that Maja could be the one, Sky Sports and other journalists online reporting that now.

Le Marchand could be on the way out, think a club in Belgium are apparently in talks for him.

Sounds like Maja will be a loan without an option... testament to the difficulties of doing business in this window.

Seri & Stef Jo have gone on loan. Assuming KMac either leaves today or retires and Le Marchand goes to Belgium... that leaves us with 26 senior players, with Onomah and Maja being added to the squad. Who is the other player that misses out, presumably Tim Ream?

I seen someone on twitter say Cairney might get removed from the squad as he's not getting over his injury and is unlikely to play anyway. Could be a load of rubbish though.

My own guess would be one of Ream or Odoi would be removed if nobody else leaves. Although there was talk last week that Kebano could go on loan to a championship team.

Kamara possibly going on loan to Boro, that would free up a squad place.

Although, a lot of people still saying we're in for King as well as Maja. Could we be getting both in today?? <yikes>

    Probably neither now <laugh>

Just over an hour until the deadline and still nothing confirmed in or out

    IN
    Josh Maja -
Looking very likely to sign on loan with option to buy
Josh King - Apparently between us and Everton, fee could be around £8m?

    OUT
Abou Kamara - Dijon (Loan) CONFIRMED
Maxime Le Marchand - Antwerp (Loan) CONFIRMED
    Neeskens Kebano -
Boro looking to get him after missing out on Kamara

Lets see what happens in the last hour...

It would be rather Fulhamish to end the transfer window losing two attackers (Kamara & Kebano) and gaining just one (Maja), given our lack of goals this year. Especially if MLM ends up staying.

The Josh King deal seems to have been in the balance all night, a couple of hours ago everywhere was saying he was certain to go to Fulham, our deal was better and he had more chance of getting games etc. Then in the last half hour its all change, he's certain to go to Everton now. Who knows whats happening.

Even if we do somehow end up with Josh King (which looks very unlikely), he very clearly does not want to be here. I'd rather give Maja or Stansfield a chance.

    We've got ourselves another CF!!!!

    Maja Arrives On Loan

We are delighted to announce the signing of Josh Maja from Bordeaux on loan.

The 22-year-old striker will remain with Fulham for the remainder of the 2020/21 campaign, with an option for the deal to be made permanent.

Speaking to fulhamfc.com after signing, Maja said: "I’m really excited and proud to sign for Fulham on loan for the remainder of the season.

"This is a big opportunity and I look forward to meeting up with the team and working hard to achieve positive results."

Tony Khan added: "I’m delighted that we’ve been able to bring Josh back to Fulham. He’s made tremendous progress in the years since he left our Academy, and now he’s returning to the Club in our First Team with an opportunity to earn his place in our squad and prove himself at the highest level. Come on Fulham!"

AK, Max and Kebano all go out on loan.
A busy final day in the transfer market, but to be fair, very much the same for most teams.
