Have the FA explained their decision RE Luiz? Have they deemed that Jan’s wasn’t a foul in the first place?
This is great news, but it's almost infuriated me even more. Mike Dean got it wrong live. He then got it wrong again on the VAR monitor. We didn't help ourselves, but he almost condemned us to the 9-0. Serious questions have to be asked about this kind of decision making/corruption.
I just think it was a horrific decision by Dean and Scott. Scott probably told him there wasn't enough evidence to overturn the pen (which is just rubbish) and then in that case it should be a red for Bednarek. Main thing is justice has been done.
Just watching Ralph's press conference, he's thanked the fans for sending messages that lifted him and the players. He said they didn't deserve it but were grateful for it. Jankewitz has apologised in front of the team today for his red. Ralph has no intention to resign following the result. He knows he's in the right club following the reaction to the defeat.
Does that mean the goals scored after his red card don’t count? Asking for a friend. Not called Kevin.!
Which (I’m ever the pessimist) will mean he’ll have it in for us even more when he’s finally allowed to referee or VAR one of our games. The boys better be on best behaviour for that one as he’ll be looking for the smallest opportunity ..... Not that I think he’s a vindictive **** ......
Ralph was questioned about who lifts the manager (on the back of fan support to him). He said his family, who although are in another country, can lift him on FaceTime. He said his wife 'tried everything she could' to raise his spirits yesterday...
Ralph reiterated that Romeu, Vesty and KWP could be back for the weekend but said with good news comes bad news (about Armstrong).
