First time in 5 years Newcastle have scored 3 first half goals.

We're good at helping the opposition.

 

And even if we win or draw, FTL can’t boast about a clean sheet when he does the next thread

 

I wouldn't have made such a fuss if it was midway through a half or near the end but literally seconds before HT? That is the worst time to concede a goal and it makes it even worse that we gifted it to them. So, yeah, I'm not going to just say "Oh bollocks".

I think we're still in this. I've just put £2 on us at 20/1 to win this (last of the big gamblers, me). I do rather hope that Ralph and the boys have a tad more backbone than some of our supporters.

Agree with that but genuinely the team out there today is only really one player short of full strength and just looks totally devoid of confidence. KWP is class no doubt but we should be able to lose a player and not capitulate, Newcastle are far from
Full strength but still look decent both going forward and at the back. Think there is something in this for us yet, all depends on the first 15 mins of the second for me.

 

At least I can watch the rugby at 4.45 without much worry of missing much

 

It might not happen today but we will turn it around sometime, their defensive confidence plus the conditions have been the overriding factors in this match so far.

I haven't given up, we score early and it's game on. But I'm getting sick and tired of us making life hard for ourselves. And I'm sick of us leaking goals left right and centre.
