Doesn't seem to be much interest in gridiron on here these days, so I'll kick it off for this year. Long story short, the Chiefs for me. The Bucs D are very good, but I think there's just too much firepower on the other side. Andy Reid's tactics might be interesting, though: all the pundits are pointing out that TB have had the top-ranked run defence for the past two years, and that Andy won't try to establish the run game. I think he might do just that. If TB over-concentrate on the Kelce/Hill double threat, I wouldn't be surprised to see Clyde Edwards-Helaire have a big game in terms of yardage, particularly down the TB right. Chiefs, giving five and a half. P unt H eavily on W ily O ld A ndy R eid
Count Tom Brady out at your peril! He got the gang back together at the Bucs and won himself another Superbowl, he's a legend for sure.
You're right, of course, but I thought the damage was pretty much self-inflicted. If you're going to give away penalties up to auto-destruct level, it's going to be hard to win. All that said, the Bucs absolutely deserved it - they won all the big match-ups and always seemed able to find space when it mattered,
Mahomes, he got a pasting from the Pats D, but was still excellent, sadly the rest of the Chiefs totally choked, the D constantly giving holding penalties whilst the receivers couldn't catch covid in a wuhan hospital.
