Best bet would be to give the groundsmen two days off and get this postponed until later on in the season.
Ingram has to start, I'd put Emmanuel back in, agree with OLM in regards to wilks ( he should be dropped though ). For me the biggest indication of what's happening in-house and whether or not grant has the squad onside, will be how the players respond in this game, I personally think we will have a much clearer idea after this game on the players desire to a - win promotion b - back/play for their gaffer There was some unhappy players after Saturday!
There were also a lot of unhappy fans after Saturday .. specially when it was crying out for change yet daft lad stands their hands on nads in pocket shaking his head but doing bugger all
looking at tomorrow nights weather forecast, heavy snow falls and a temp of -7in the Hull area, there a fair chance it could be postponed.
He didn't drop Long when he should have last season so he sure as hell isn't going to drop him now. Do Long and Wilks get a lift in with McCann by any chance? And Magennis must be so pissed off with McCann
Maybe he doesn't like being told by teammates not to a greedy ****** and has decided its his ball and he's taking it home with him...
If the pitch undersoil heating is on that should prevent the game from being called off. The last game that was postponed for snow wasn't because the pitch was unplayable, it was for H&S reasons for fans getting into the ground.
and also the stands / seats couldn't be cleared to allow access for fans into their seats. Just imagine, the flaskers in the west stand clambering over piles of snow to get into their seats and then slipping over heading for a pee at half time.
I imagine the pitch is still in an absolute ****ing state after today, and considering we're meant to be getting the same tomorrow, I can't imagine the game quality being anything other than ****e.
Wasn’t it getting to the ground?? The council not city? Hull City Preview: MATCH POSTPONED please log in to view this image A BIT LATE INNIT By Since66 January 8 2010 Talk about a late afternoon/early evening decision. Hull have had ALL day to call off Saturday's game, but just as I had finished the 'brilliant' preview below, it has been announced that the game is OFF. Yes the game is OFF and this despite Hull telling the major sport outlets like Radio 5 and SSN that the game will be ON. Bet Chelsea are none too pleased if they are already in their hotel. MY 'BRILLIANT' PREVIEW As I write this, Saturday's clash with Hull City is ON despite major concerns of the areas outside the KC Stadium; Approaches to the stadium, roads and pavements being suitable for both sets of fans to travel on either by car, coach or shank's pony. please log in to view this image The pitch itself is in excellent condition and is snow free, unless the weather is unkind tonight and in the early hours of Saturday morning. The KC has never lost a football match to adverse weather conditions. After this weeks bad weather, there is always a first time. edit
