Sounds completely farcical. I’ve just walked over Stinchcombe Hill at 800ft altitude and the ground is not frozen. The referee’s a ****er.
I expect Holden to be shown the door shortly. Tisdale’s available! How a team that cost £10s of millions to put together can be so dreadful is quite a thing. Something very wrong at that club.
They did not want to play because 1) they had no available training area available before today!!!!!! 2) Club in financial mess ,any excuse will do.3) three first team member were suspended for late attendance of friday training 4) Manager under pressure 5)S--t scared that under our new manager , we become a different prospect with different formation
The ' no training area available' is one of the lamest excuses I've ever heard - as for the rest, that's mostly their own doing. The bottom line is that they believe it will suit their prospects of not losing better by postponing it until they have a stronger squad available. The term 'gutless, clueless and desperate spring to mind, but that could equally apply to the EFL who didn't insist on the game going ahead today. It is what it is sadly, nothing anyone can do about it - just a shame that this has broken our momentum when we were in such a rich vein of form, hope it doesn't damage our winning streak! - oh, hang on!....................................
Wigan lost to Oxford today still above the bottom 4 and on the same number of games played and a better GD
Just noticed Bristol City women's team lost 5-0 at home to Chelsea today - seems like they've started a trend over there!
Few people got excited today. Darrell Clarke left Walsall to join another club. Few gasheads thought he was coming home. Nope. He has joined Port Vale. Strange decision. He left Walsall in 11th - just 6 points behind the play offs and only lost 6 games all season (2nd best in the league) and joined Vale who are 18th - just 9 points from relegation and lost 14 games all season (2nd worse in the league).
4 changes for tonight's match in come Harries Hanlan Nicholson and Ayunga out go Daly Rodman Oztumer. Leahy takes captains armband
Normal service resumed 1 - 0 Pompey Rovers 1 - 1 Pompey goal from Ayunga Ayunga 2 - 1 Pompey If the scores stay the same Rovers would climb to 18th
Jonah’s having a whale of a time! I’ve been saving that one up for months - he’s finally scored. Well done son, let’s hope that’s the first of many.
JCH on the scoresheet for Posh again - twice. We should’ve got more than £1.25m for him, considering Posh got £8m for Toney.
