Genuine Q here. At what point are people allowed to question Ralph and his tactics, subs, line up etc?
Goals change games, we know that it would've been a different match if they never had a pen but we did...fine margins but we were not great in the second half admittedly.
I'm not sure why Bertrand handballed but Dedoncker didn't. I just don't know the rules anymore. 1st half showed how good Saints are but they couldn't get the ball in the 2nd half. 2nd best completely.
For people who hate VAR, this would have happened without it. And I think people were saying they'd be prepared to accept the referee's decisions and not have VAR. Well that's obviously bullshit.
Mentally we look shot. Ralph has to change that somehow. Refs again making up the rules as they go along.
I can see why Tom thinks that VAR didn’t think the ref made an obvious error - I mean all those players blocking his view. FFS - the game is fooked
I'd add that the volume of individual errors in terms of misplaced/poor passes is currently at a level where we'll never get a result. We actually failed to kick the ball in the air three times there at the end.
Okay, I don't normally het too upset, but I'm furious at these constant terrible decisions. I get people being pissed off royally. I like Ralph and this team, and I hope we get back to winning ways soon. Honestly feel like having a break myself. VAR can piss off or needs a major common sense overhaul COYRs.
You have to give both or neither. Both were accidental handballs. It makes no sense to punish us but not them
VAR was brought in for these type of decisions. Real time it looked a pen. Once you see the replays no way was it one in any stretch of the imagination. That is how VAR has let us down. As for the Wolves one - more obvious in real time and on a replay. If one is given them both are IMO
Haven’t read anything prior to this post, so probably repeating what has already been said. The referee has seen the ball hit an arm, in the area, twice but only once has he awarded a penalty. In both cases there was no “obvious error” so VAR doesn’t overrule either decision. The system stinks especially as the ball that hit the Wolves player on the elbow IN FULL VIEW OF THE REFEREE, had travelled a lot further than the one that had hit Bertrand, so surely was more of a penalty, under the new rules, than the one he gave.
Well this is ****. Danny ings will go, Ryan won't sign his new deal.. Ralph will get sacked BecUse no one will want him. At least that us going for us. Wtf is wrong with Saints Fragility. Get some back bone ffs. It's. Good thing we are nearly safe from relegation or we would be right in it.
We won’t be relegated, anyone suggesting we will is being reactive. I think we’re heading for a lower mid table finish. Thing’s will get worse before better and I think we will finish the season with a good run.
Clear and obvious ****ed us in the arse. The only thing clear and obvious is the standard of officiating in this league is ****tier than my toilet bowl after a bout of explosive diarrhea.
I'm not saying it is my view just yet, but I think there will start to b more focus on his soon. I like Ralph, believe in him, but whilst playing our best post Koeman football, he has also overseen some of our worst results. So, say we loose next 1, or 2, or 3, would it be wrong to question wtf is going on?
This was the standout cause of our second half performance for me. You can only blame VAR and bad luck for so long. Eventually you have to concede that we make our own luck and right now confidence is low. positives - we’re still in the cup and Salisu can play anywhere along the back 4
We keep talking about var and it’s certainly not being used properly. But as far as we are concerned the issue is simple: Mike Dean, Lee Mason and Graham Scott. End of
