That was a great game of football to watch. Makes a massive change to face a side that doesn't sit back and just defend their box when we're in possession. Also made a change having a consistent referee.

That Upamecano look like a very decent centre back to play against. That high line RB play is suicidal and by the time the return leg comes by they may be facing a different monster with Diogo Fabinho and Keita back

I think Villa could have kicked the ball at the corner flag and it would have somehow deflected into the goal in that game, as has our luck been in general this season

 

Kabak was superb in this game, much improved from the Leicester match.

 

I think Bayern should ask for their money back based on his performance last night, he can tackle and block, but panics under pressure and his distribution is crap.

 

He looked like a very good CB that was either caught in the headlights or already halfway to Munich...

 

He looked good last night, but any new player needs about 10 games before you see what you have. I am however optimistic that he will be decent.

 

**** knows what he was thinking for Mane's goal. He didn't even need to clear it at that point, just run with it and passed back to the keeper.
