Yep, totally agree about the latter 3 players. I'm not sure Dan has what it takes, but happy for him to prove me wrong.
I never thought i'd see the day but apparently Danny is becoming the latest whipping boy on twatter for Saints fans and we all know there always has to be one. Never mind that his goals probably kept us up last season.
As digital media goes this message board is about as sane as it gets. For the sake of my own sanity I go nowhere near the poison that is twitter.
He does have a head start on others as he has the Saints team name. We do love a Danny. We must have had six or seven now. Not including 5th Dan, also known as Oscar Gobern. Being a sad man, I have checked to find we have had 11! Not Bored not bored.
I'd like Fulham to stay up (instead of a Newcastle/Burnley/Brighton/Palace), but they've got a horrific run. I know football is not played on paper or screens, but their next nine are: Palace (A) Spurs (H) Liverpool (A) City (H) Leeds (H) Villa (A) Wolves (H) Arsenal (A) Chelsea (A) I'm going to be very generous and forecast that they'll get 10 points from those 9 games (beat Palace and Leeds, draw to Spurs, Villa, Wolves & Arsenal, lose to City, Liverpool & Chelsea). I don't think they'll get that many, but if they did, Saints would only need one win from our nine games in the same time period and we would still be above them. I'm classing West Brom and Sheff Utd as already gone by the way. Fulham's last four are then Burnley, us, Man Utd and Newcastle. So I'm not saying they won't stay up, but I'd be utterly astounded if they finished above us.
If we ever get back to going to matches , I want Newcastle, Sheffield and Burnley to stay up.Closer than Fulham, Brighton and CP.
