I was at Villa when Le Tissier put the freekick down and kicked it into the net as the referee had not said he had to wait.

The ref bottled that one and disallowed it. What does it mean? It means refs hate flair and originality. Play should only be stopped if a booking is happening or if the attacking team asks for ten yards to be implemented. Why does the ref need the attacking team to wait? Is he that out of shape?
