I mentioned how McCann was quiet but you could hear the opposition manager and his staff the other week but was told being vociferous and shouting did not make a good manager or affect things on the pitch. So, if McCann doesn't shout that is why we lose but if he does shout and jump about it won't change anything anyway.
Just remember, the team was flying along, until it became apparent that some chose to bully a young lad into submission over a contract. Started to unravel around about that time.
He's a natural wide or centre forward. forward. Same as Wilks. Needs space to run into and play off a no 9. Neither are No9's.
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's Granty! Talking the same ****ing ****e. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p097vf84
Get what you're saying and I'm sure you do me. But come on, This fella ... you're a player and you look across to the touchline for a signal and .... There has to be some sign of life from the manager or side kick during a game doesn't there?
"5 in 17 Grant doesn't suggest promotion" "Yeah, but that's the way people want to put it" Well Grant, they put it like that because IT'S ****ING SHOCKING FORM IF YOU WANT PROMOTION.
Adkins was lucky to have Bowen, Campbell and Grosiki in the same team for so long. I thought he under performed as our manager because he should have done better with the players he had. I'd have given Adkins the CEO's job at City, he was more suited to that then he was as head coach.
I'm sure he does know this league (or is it a division?). But thats irrelevant if you are just a **** manager / coach.
He misses chance after chance. He usually has one good run in a game. All that ****ing about with his contract did not help the team IMO
I agree. But when I said that we couldn't hear him but the commentator had remarked in how loud the opposition were some people on here said that didn't matter. Seems whatever people don't agree. Don't forget that the pitch was why we couldn't go away and play good football and Accrington had an advantage because they knew where to play on their pitch. Always some excuse. Man City had become Champions on this pitch the season before. West Ham coped.
Signed by Bruce having been scouted by Ternent and developed by Pennock. One positive about the club now as opposed to anytime I remember going back nearly 40 years is we're taking youth development seriously. I felt at the start of the season we needed more experience alongside them, but I doubt either Grant or Ehab want more influence in the changing room than the manager has. We should have a seasoned spine to the side, and Smallwood, maybe Magennis/Eaves aside we don't. But playing alongside experience develops your younger talent.
He actually said we had the best 2 chances in the game!! It is al, about scoring goals not chances. He is totally clueless
The forward line have scored enough goals so its a redundant argument. If Wilks puts in a cross then Potter is sniffing in the box and vice versa so it effectively is a striker playing off a big lad in the system we play. Problem is mainly mentality and a lack of experience defensively, Smallwood aside. We're thin with Eaves out in the No9 position especially with Magennis still coming back from covid but it's not the forward line that ain't good enough in this league for promotion.
