Then we definitely need to recruit in the summer for RB and LB, with KWP picking up injures...we are horribly exposed.
One idea might be, Ralph makes it crystal clear to them what he really thought about that second half(and others before it), then reminds them, they are actually the only ones to stop all this nonsense, gives them a couple of hours in a locked dressing room on their own to come up with some solutions and leaves them to it. He won't of course but I've seen similar happen in other situations.
After most matches someone from the opposition comes on here and has a friendly comment or two, first game back and you turn up with all your rubbish.
I was trying to rearrange those words into a coherent sentence, then realised there's no point. Fair play to you though, as I didn't know dogshit could type
I know there isn't much to be happy about about last night, but that sprint back and tackle by Romeu was utter magic. Don't want it to be forgotten in the gloomy mists because it was one of the best tackles I've ever seen. A real shame that it counted for nothing in the end and even more so that Romeu went off injured Hope he's not out long
Not at all some talk even more bol***** than me But when some resort to abuse it proves how juvenile they are
Just had a bit of a debate with someone wavering on Ralph now. I think the way I see it at the mo, it is an unquestionably dire run of form at the moment, but a fairly average run of form in the latter part of the season could still see us finish around 10th, so in that sense it would be premature and he has pulled us out of bad form before. However if he doesn’t turn it around satisfactorily by the end of the season then fair enough, he deserves until then at least though. I still don’t think we will get a better manager mind...
Agree Ronnie it's not just one easily remedied problem. How do we return to the form of the earlier part of the season? ****ed know, if I did I'd be on a fat salary sat in the boardroom toasting the latest victory. As far as the team goes we need to play with a commanding goal keeper behind a strong defence of ball winners and distributors protected by a strong and skilful midfield able to transfer from defence to attack able to spot runs, linking to goal scoring forwards with the ability to create chances and score whilst being part of the overall high press that unsettles the opposition.
As good as the tackle was, it was Romeu’s own fault that he had to make such a desperate challenge. If you watch a rerun, when Bertrand’s free kick is headed out Romeu, who was our last man in the centre circle, starts to move forward to close down a ball he was nowhere near. That forward movement was what gave the Leeds player so much of a head start, and the chase back and tackle is why we are praising Romeu instead of slaughtering him, which we would have been if they had scored. Small margins between hero and zero.
Good to see a bit of old style BBC 606 inter board banter (although the quality of wumming from Yarkshire is quite frankly poor), which coincidentally is about the last time that we played Dirty Leeds...I wonder why that is?...
