He has, but I also think that he's been used a lot in recent weeks and he's got quite a substantial injury record, so playing this regularly and at such a high level (baring in mind he was at Huddersfield last season), is not something he's accustomed to.
he seemed to start so well when you first got him on loan. A few of my mates who are arsenal fans wouldn’t stop going on about him... but that euphoria ended pretty quickly! That mistake last night was peak Tottenham 2020/21
The Pepe thing makes no sense. He cost £72m. You are paying it off at £6m per window so you've only paid £24m so far. It wasn't dependent on targets or anything else so there is no money to be saved by not playing him. If he was to be sold this summer you'd be lucky to get £20m for him ... while still having to pay off the remaining £48m.
Happy Obafemi Martins day everyone and a special mention for whoever it was that gave Koscielny a cuff round the ear
Pep changes a winning dominating team to bring two favourites back. As good as the two are it's still changing a winning team which is never good practice.
tbh it made as much sense as the english commentary and had the added bonus of "West Brommo" plus i'm sure one of them said "Lee Mason eez a eadcase" Edit : I thought i'd posted that on the PL board . reckon i'm clearly fully qualified to be a ref be a ref
I have never understood why, after a foul you can’t take the kick straight away, instead of letting the offending team get everyone in place to defend. The attacking team should be allowed to to get on with the game if they choose to.
I was there as I had two Club Wembley seats at the time. I had bought along a friend who supports Arsenal. I had to put my head in my hands to avoid laughing out loud.
Of course that should be the case, but instead we have the referree painting lines on the ground to give them even more time.
Remember when we were linked with the next big thing in Croatia and he signed for Barca from Dinamo in 2014? Alen Halilovic has since been loaned out a lot and moved from Barca to Hamburg to Milan and now to Birmingham on a free. Good goal, to be fair.
Again, Spurs have in the past decade have done very well on bullet dodging on the "next big thing" (especially the costs that would have been incurred on transfer fees etc) .
