I always think of the 7-1 Roma game as if it was in 2008 for some reason.

Ok HIAG. Don’t turn up to a gunfight with a tampon.

Ole’s not underrated though, best sub striker, assassin.

Absolute **** of a player, but Dean Saunders for Derby (although that was pre prem) scored bucket loads of goals in a **** team and earned a big move to Liverpool.

Think he finished up top scorer there for a couple of seasons too.

Before my time but didn't we being him on for Le Tiss too? Talk about compounding the error.

Probably still better than the bloke we paid £20m for three years ago though.

Subbed on for Le Tissier in the first half because he was injured, subbed off for Ken Monkou in the second half because he was ****.

100% Andy Cole for me. I think there was a time when Shearer, Cole and Ferdinand were the top 3 scorers in EPL history and whilst I'd say Shearer was the best and Sir Les was (and is) my favourite - just loved the guy - Cole seems to still get a lot of hate or apathy.

He started as a goal machine for us, a goal a game in the Championship and then 34 goals in our first season up, that's just insane. What he doesn't get enough credit for is that he developed his game so much, for Man United too many people complained that he wasn't scoring as many goals as he had done but didn't give any appreciation of the fact he was playing a different role and was probably a better all round player.

I'd say everyone else on the list gets praise, some lots some not that much. Cole seemed to get undue criticism, even when he was winning trebles. As stated, not from many NUFC or MUFC fans.

Defoe would be my 2nd. Goal machine.

Yeah but as far as his football career goes: Andy Cole >> Andrew Cole

    #FACT

I think the weight of the extra letters slowed him down, he lost a yard of pace.
