Dependant upon what happens today, The Greens may keep her in place but it'll be touch and go as not all SNP MSPs are with her, there's a fair few in Salmonds corner...
Hang on... alarm bells always to start to ring when people say... “I’m sorry, I can’t remember”, “ I don’t know”, “I can’t recall” “I’m not sure”. She needs to stop those erratic hand movements with the pen as well.
You can see from what I wrote I (have to) accept that.... ....but I celebrate the fact he was prosecuted and his grubbiness was brought into the open. I am sad he was not convicted. I am still not quite understanding what is the ministerial code that was broken.. They went ahead with the prosecution even though they were told it would fail, is that so terrible ( I am glad they did)..costs money but at least showed him up to be what he is. Sturgeon knew a couple of days before she said she did... But there are lots of things I half know, before it is official...That prince Philip was pretty ill for a current example. So is that a real resigning issue. Or am I missing something, other than its all political....anti Sturgeon from the Salmond camp, anti SNP from every one else. I have no views on the SNP for or against per se, it's not my country. But I do support the women involved here, as said I can relate to their experience
For someone that has no views on this Beth you keep popping up with points? “I am still not quite understanding what is the ministerial code that was broken.. They went ahead with the prosecution even though they were told it would fail, is that so terrible ( I am glad they did)..costs money but at least showed him up to be what he is. You mean witch hunt to get him out of the way at taxpayers expense? If this was happening in Downing Street this place would be in meltdown from the usual suspects. I understand from reading your previous posts that you have a problem with Salmond. Beth I also think he is a creepy horrid thing when around women but this is about Sturgeons actions and her ministerial conduct.
I think there's a view that opponents may want to keep her in post for the upcoming election, they would then have ammo to discredit her. She's basically 'holed below the waterline' and that generally means it's only a matter of time before she goes...
Agree she is damaged goods and will be toast at some point. she is trying to cover things up and making a crap job of it. She is getting slatted from all corners on Twitter.
I wish we had had a "witch hunt" against Jimmy Saville, all the investigations against him came to nothing...and only came out when he died. Yes Ellers you are completely right I have a major problem with Salmond, which is not political. I am sorry that I keep coming and expressing it on this the Political thread, which should only be reserved for political comment. Mind you if some one is not fit to serve in the public sector due to his inability to act politely and correctly around women, perhaps it is politics
No Beth I agree on both points and I was actually trying to say that it’s good you join in... just crap wording by me. Otherwise it’s just Watford and I talking rubbish? PS I always thought something was not right with Saville. Always found him a bit creepy.
Just for Tories. Remarkable isn't it, the usual Tory suspects on here jumping up and down about Sturgeon when breaches by their own government are waved away?
Our future PRime Minister giving a budget speech, being followed by a dud who is standing in for an incompetent Shadow Chancellor.
Sir Starmer needs to cut the quips/jokes because they all fell flat. Where’s Dodds when you need a laugh?
I think the point is correct. I don’t see what it has to do with the Tories though. Maybe you can enlighten us
