My Mrs had hers Saturday as she is the carer for our daughter. She was ill as **** Sunday and Monday but fine now
Yeah now live at Witton Gilbert, when we were looking nearly bought a house at Nettlesworth but Estate Agents messed us about.
Get my vaccine this Saturday at 6pm. I can't believe how excited I am about getting a needle stuck in my arm.
very exclusive area that is I was born and bred in sacriston lived there for 33 years and worked there for 20 years Moved to nettlesworth and lived there for 5 years Both smashing places to live and some lovely people in both villages I’m still in touch with quiet a few
I had the Oxford vaccine and I was really ill the next day from it. Glad that I've had it done, though.
Yeah, they ask you if you suffer from any allergies etc and then tell you which vaccine you are having before they inject you.
We got an information leaflet on way in and it had Astra Zenaca printed all over it. Ruined my surprise.
Our friends in the EU - don't you just love em https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-56279202 The Italian government has blocked the export of an Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine shipment to Australia. The decision affects 250,000 doses of the vaccine produced at an AstraZeneca facility in Italy. Italy is the first EU country to use the bloc's new regulations allowing exports to be stopped if the company providing the vaccines has failed to meet its obligations to the EU.
I’ve had some stick from people older than me who think they should be more entitled to it (I’m 45) but I’m in an at risk group as a type 1 diabetic. Makes you wonder what people think.
Hope you don’t mind me asking, but I’m unpaid carer for adult child & my dad. I’ve got nothing official to say I’m their carer, would I still be able to get a jab do you know? I’m not sure how it works
The DWP sent the NHS a listing of all in England being paid carer's allowance so I guess it all depends on if you are listed as a carer on your GP records. If you are, you would routinely get offered a flu jab every autumn and you should be contacted reasonably soon. If you aren't, you have 2 options; firstly ring your GP and ask for them to check and make sure that they have on your medical record that you are an unpaid carer for them both (this should start the ball rolling for you, but you can also be cheeky and ask about when you are likely to be invited for a jab). Secondly, when you are asked to book covid vaccinations for your adult son & dad, don't do it on line, ring up to make the appointments and drop into the conversation that you will need to accompany them as you are their unpaid carer, and ask if you can be vaccinated along with them.
