Just done one of those calculators sites and it says I'm due before the 15th march but will certainly take your advice and call docs if I've not heard from them after that date

All I had to do (or did without realising) was to register myself as a carer for my wife (should relate to immediate family) with my GP. I did this a few years ago on instruction from the wife. From their records they had me listed in cat 6 which my area is up to now. I did chase my GP as my wife's appointment came through first but they easily arranged mine for the same time. Good luck.

Got mine booked for today. Reading up on stuff, I find that the most popular Google search in the UK at the moment is ' covid vaccine and alcohol' and I find experts saying stay off it for 3days before and 2WEEKS!! After vaccination. This is the first I've heard of it. Anyone been warned off the booze ?

In Melbourne it's pretty impartial from what I've seen. I think it's understood that we aren't a priority at all at the moment and it will remain that way while people are dying elsewhere.

There's a whole lot of nationalism over here though, so people could start getting annoyed soon.

Alcohol is known to lower your immune system. I don’t think there’s any official advice in UK, but I have relatives in Scandinavia & one, who is a nurse, was told no alcohol for 2 weeks before & 4 weeks after. If you want to be extra careful maybe cut down at least? Entirely up to you of course. Take care

One of the ministers came out and siad that it was no big deal and that they'd actually forgotten that they'd ordered them.

We're producing our own from the end of the month i believe.

Get my jab this evening. I had a glass of whisky last night and a couple of bottles of Double Maxim on Tuesday whist watching our match.
