The 4-4-2 or whatever it is really suits him. Bale and Son out wide and Kane moving about all over the place gives him plenty of space. When he picks up the ball and the opposition are a bit light at the back, he scares the **** out of defences.
Ignore Croydon. Yes, you are. Hammer hate (especially when they are having a good season) trumps Leeds hate.
Alternatively, if they have a 20-man brawl, both get deducted three points so we stay above the Spammers while L666s get nudged towards the "Preparing to Levy you out of Kalvin Phillips" zone
Never understood your rivalry with West Ham - what’s the story behind it? Outside of being London rivals, it seems a bit random that there’s such animosity between both clubs.
There isn't one: a rivalry implies there are two sets of fans involved, rather than one set who consider matches against us to be their cup final while we can't be bothered with them
Apart from being weaned on it, I think they are considered to have classless fans. Who do you consider as rivals apart from us?
Since the Everton game we have played some good stuff at times. The last 20 mins v West ham, the 2 EL matches, Burnley first half, Fulham first half and today's second half. We are decent to watch which is a big improvement on the dross before Xmas until the Everton game.
They hate us for the same reason that Chelsea do - anti-Semitism. Both clubs have had to warn their fans not to sing songs about Hitler or mimic gas chambers by hissing when playing us. I'm sure a lot of the newer fans don't really know the origins of it, but those are recent warnings.
There is none. They recently deluded themselves from top down that the taxpayers arena made them a rising competitor to Spurs. < meaningful and valid point dg. > They are however one of a select group of clubs whose supporters whose supporters have historically made chants/gestures harking to the Nazi atrocities (ironic given my experience is that more Jews support the Goons than Spurs) .
Like Chelsea, they don't have a proper local rival...and we could always take away their best players. Even Bobby Moore wanted to come to Spurs Plus, there's a lot of Spurs fans out in what used to be considered their heartland
Like Chelsea, they consider us their biggest rivals so with it also being a London Derby it adds a bit of spice too it from our side too. As PNP said too, the anti-Semitic stuff (like Chelsea) also more than played it’s part. The way I see it with regards to rivals: You guys are our cup final by a distance. Chelsea our semi. West Ham our quarter. More the merrier too in my opinion, I love these games, first set of fixtures I look for when announced.
You have to have worked in an office in the Essex area. I worked for the Anderson Group and it was 50/50 Spurs/West Ham. When we got the chance to build the new Spurs training ground the office might as well have been Kosovo's and Serbs.
March is a big month. With the current play Spurs could remove the Goons and Villa from the PL top 4 'worry list' .
Kanes goal was like watching a cricketer hit the perfect cover drive , hit and stand there watching it go to the boundary
