ODowda - Still under contract, totally inconsistent, needs to step up or step out.
Paterson - Out of contract, weak and wholly inconsistent, why would we offer him a new contract?
Bakinson - A work in progress.
Semenyo - Still under contract, needs a lot of coaching, so far an enigma ala Jet and Tomlin, lacks vision and composure.
Walsh - Out of contract, I suspect whether he stays is down to him and what we offer him.
Adelakum - Out of contract, league 1 player at best, again why offer him a new contract?.
Weimann - Out of contract, hopefully Pearson will realise that he is either a wide man or a striker and never was and never will be a midfielder.
Hunt - Out of contract, 30 years of age, incredibly inconsistent, can be a liability defensively, why offer him a new contract?.
DaSilva - Still under contract, needs to prove his long term fitness.
Bentley - An obvious keeper (pun intended).
Kalas - Needs to be kept along with Bentley.
Palmer - Improving his all round game and our best hope as a player to unlock defences.
Massengo - A difficult one, part of me says out on loan but suspect he might be better off learning from Pearson/coaches.
Nagy - Still under contract, needs help in midfield, maybe Walsh and Williams might fit that bill once fit.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Others out of contract
Baker - Maybe a roll over contract, until he proves his fitness.
Diedhiou - Time to move and replace him.
Sessegnon - I wouldn't bother with him again next season, time for 21 year Nurse to step up probably alongside a new signing.
    Lansbury - No thanks.
    Mariappa - No thanks.
Rowe - Great pro but time for 23 year old Pring to step up alongside DaSilva.
Watkins - Another league player at best.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The rest still under contract
Martin - Great player suffered through woeful lack of midfield creativity.
    Oleary - Great understudy.
Williams - Needs full fitness, to properly assess.
Wells - Another great striker who has suffered from a woeful lack midfield creativity, up until last Saturday was not missing chances, he just was not being presented with chances, the 2 he missed on Saturday was from frustration of the backward step that we had taken in our last 2 games.
Moore - Is I am sure a talent and a 100% committed player, but needs to step up to the mark and cut out the silly mistakes and remember that he is Taylor Moore and not Bobby Moore.
Vyner - A huge talent, probably as consistent as Bentley and Kalas, just occasionally loses concentration.
For the younger players - Wollacott, Pring, the Edwards boys, Pearson, Bell, Towler and Nurse + the young guys who recently signed their first pro contracts, keep pushing your time will come and maybe quicker than you expect.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So in short IMHO, we need a 'quality' right back, a 'quality' midfield leader and a 'quality' striker and utilise the younger players, some of whom are already in their 20's.

I just want to add one more thing, one of the most talented young players on our books is soon to be 20 year old striker Louis Britton, he is out of contract in June but apparently we do have a 1 year option on him, I am told bigger clubs are already circling around him, WBA being one, I have seen him play and he certainly is a huge talent, we probably need to secure him on a longer contract.

I agree with most of that, we don't share the same opinion regarding O'Dowda & Paterson, but hey ho!!
I've said all along, we need new quality additions..oh and a out and out leader on the pitch...our better players will benefit greatly IMO.
It's a shame that the RPs of this world, view things with hatred dust he has through his designer LJ red misted glasses :emoticon-0103-cool:<laugh> I'm sure he's missing him :emoticon-0127-lipss

ODowda is still under contract and has a chance to find the consistency so very much lacking from his game or if not move on.

The problem with Paterson, he is out of contract and will almost certainly be looking for an improved deal and he just ain't worth it, use the money elsewhere for somebody who is not weak and totally inconsistent.

I don’t think anyone will get an improved deal post Covid, far from it.

1For - Comprehension is not one of your strong points. I didn't ask for very ordinary list.

I asked who are good enough of the 65 that will start with Kalas, Bentley and Vyner.
In August Pearson will bring in at least 5 better players so that means 3 of Junior's 65 will have to play.

    3 from 65 - an appalling legacy.

Ahhh you've added one.....didn't think you rated Vyner....oh yeah that was a few weeks ago.....you'll be liking Palmer if you're not careful!! .<laugh>....
I was just gonna say Mathematics is not one of your strong points or understanding of events.
LJ has been gone nearly a year, many of the 65 you refer to have left.....some for zillions to our club.
I've given a list... IMO decent players. 5 players to a squad is not that many.
You really need to get a grip RP, I'm starting to worry about you..:emoticon-0118-yawn:

They will if there is no fee involved to a new club or if there is a clause in their contract entitling them if we decide to offer a new contract.

I'm a massive fan of the one and two touch training, but also movement without the ball is key......lacking in most of the games I've witnessed this season.

Been lacking pretty much since January 2018, along with the high press, moving the ball forward and creating in and around the opponents penalty area.

I haven't missed watching a game one way or another for nearly 5 years now and I have to say since January 2018 the football has been mainly turgid to dire, totally lacking in midfield control, lacking in attacking intent, lacking in goalmouth action, looking not to lose, very easy to play against and usually losing to teams who cannot buy a win but are physical, getting beaten up all over the pitch.

I have no agenda but that is truth and a truth that a majority of fans would agree with, the loss of our best players was a drip feed not all in one go and to be honest were all part of a team that were already failing from the dizzy heights of our 2017/18 start up until January, something we have never come close to replicating.

So, do I comprehend correctly that you’re saying the 65 signing made by LJ are all in contention to start alongside Kalas, Bentley and Vyner?<confused>
