I was at Highbury in THAT season when we set a record of shame when he came on a a second half sub and sored a belter after 12 seconds. We lost 2-1 but the hero was Mike Kelly who, on another day could well have conceded 10. Am waiting for the photos of that side and would be interested to know if we can tell who's who between the Morgan brothers.

Simon Barker. Under-rated player that was a part of one of my favourite Qpr eras/squads.

If memory is correct that was when Leicester broke the British transfer fee record to buy Clarke, something like £150k.... they also had a young lad in goal called Peter Shilton, whatever happened to him.....

Yes but it was a struggle - he'd got himself caught up with a gang using black kids on the estate to sell drugs - it was somewhere in the Grenfell Towers vicinity and already had a massive drugs abuse problem in the mid to late 80s- I was glad his dad wanted his usual brief to represent at the Crown Court trial. Given the circles he moved in I doubt he's still alive. Sounds like Uncle Danny was the only one who was able to get himself out of that environment.

That ‘North Kensington’ ie north and west of Ladbroke Grove area was really rough back then, bits of it got gentrified as the massive houses on roads like Oxford Gardens were turned back into single dwellings for rich folk like Rick Mayall in the 90s from being rabbit warren rack rented flatlets. But the people who lived in those rabbit warrens had to go somewhere.....well done on getting him bail.

He was one for the woman, there was a story going around that he did a bird in the back of a jewellers whilst buying his GF an engagement ring.

Some of his passing was great and he loved to give the ball to Mark Falco
