Commentator said last night Portsmouth had the most pens in the league this season can't remember if it was 10 or 12 - can see why after Marquis did the dying swan
Was listening to Radio Newcastle on the way to work last night for the team news and Radio Solent was to provide the commentary on the match itself. The guy on there said that Portsmouth hadn't come from a goal down to win at home since 2019 I think. As soon as we scored that first goal and the way we were playing, I knew that we wouldn't lose.
I don't usually go on other teams forums but had a look after your post. It was quite interesting but I was surprised to see Sunderland posters on there during the game. One was trying to start arguments with Portsmouth but ended up arguing with a Sunderland lad https://www.not606.com/threads/pompey-v-sunderland.391232/
Jumpers!!.....bloody luxury that were my lad! We used to play barefoot on a ploughed field wearing nowt but old potato sacks as shorts!!
Enjoyed it a lot more than I anticipated! A very well controlled performance, probably the most complete I've seen from us in a crunch game since relegation, I just feel like we gave them nothing at all. Quality and clinical in front of goal when it mattered too.
Probably 'The Rat/Johnson' mate. We should introduce him to that forum. Him and their fans deserve each other
Found this tweet very interesting from a pompey lad who was working at the game. Great to hear Burge is organising the team from the back.
I can see a comfortable 2-0 to the lads with Wyke and Maguire scoring. We need to show them respect but not too much just play as we have in our last 5 or 6 and we’ll have way too much for them.
