There's a real danger there and a lesson. I had a mate who did the same at home. He survived but he's lost all sense of taste and smell. His wife cooks with chillies for him because otherwise his food is tasteless stodge

Murray Walker was the voice of F1, a terrific commentator across the sport and came across as a real gentleman. A real character, instantly recognizable voice and loved by serious F1 followers, casual followers and the F1 teams and drivers. Greatly lost to F1 when he retired and sad to hear of his passing. RIP Murray. Commiserations to his family and friends.
It's rare for a commentator to be as big a star as those at the top of their sports, Murray Walker was one of those. His enthusiasm allied to his knowledge of the sport from it's very beginnings made him so unique. One the last of his type of commentators in what is becoming a bland and homogenised profession, he is and will be so missed. RIP...
Murray was a huge part of the sport in this country, much more than a bloke who commentated. He was also responsible for some classic colemanballs, including ‘if you look at the first four, the important thing is that Alboreto is fifth’, and he was always happy to have the piss taken, gently. Great partnership with James Hunt. RIP, but a good innings.
Very sad news! I'm still very interested in F1 and have always missed his very excitable commentary, Murray could do commentary on a video of someone doing the washing up and have you gripped An absolute legend of his game. Thanks for the memories and rest in peace Murray Walker
