What’s he saying? Our defenders shouldn’t get further up field than our 18 yard box or something?

    Head down merchant.

Needs someone in the box intelligent enough to guess where he will randomly cross it to.

Not much. They were having a discussion about forwards but ultimately it was a Mbappe vs Haaland debate. When asked which he'd prefer for Liverpool (ignoring all other aspects) he opted for Haaland who they'd basically labelled "the big target / poacher man". All things equal, Mbappe is clearly a much better fit to our style (who they'd likened to Henry; goals, assists and generally creative).

(Henry was one of the three panel members)

I'd just as soon not repeat the midweek performance. Would prefer they actually hit the flaming target this time

Haaland is just a better harry kane. He doesn't really impress me until he gets a chance and then he is lethal.

Mbappe is more explosive but I wouldn't say hes as good a finisher.

Don't worry they become as floppy as anything near the target. Can win any header back in their own patch but go up the pitch and the are, well flaccid.

I'd give Haaland a bit more credit than that but, yeah...

Already struggling, not really retaining it and looking distinctly dodgy.

Wtf was that from phillips. 40 yarder rather than give it to thiago. Keep giving it to them.

The single crumb of comfort is we have not conceded yet.

Look at that absolute rubbish from mane. that an open goal missed.

We should have 3 or 4 lads over on the touchline getting instructions here.

We need to sharpen up our touch for sure here.

Keepers hand on his boot? That’s 3 times in last month mane could have gone down from a challenge in the box and 9/10 time would have been given a pen.

comments about him going down easy playing on his mind?
