The name of the wine is actually "Albariño" not "Albarino", but the "ñ" is a letter that only appears in the Spanish alphabet.

Day 2, usually my worse of the 4, which will take some doing after yesterdays fare...!!

1:20 - Galliard Du Mensil to win though I do have Bob Olinger in a few ap bets as well...
1:55 - Monkfish, obviously, Sporting John as my ew
2:30 - Guard Your Dreams & Blue Sari
3:05 - CPS, Put The Kettle On as the ew
3:40 - The one race I'm not that mad about but will say Easyland to win, Kingswell Theatre as the ew
4:15 - Chosen Mate & Duc Des Genievres
4:50 - Sir Gerhard with Ramilles to place...

As usual, good luck to all...<cheers> <ok>

Let the Guinness flow, the racing be good, and we all get something back on the day...:emoticon-0105-wink: <ale> :emoticon-0103-cool:

Brutal day for me yesterday avoiding the big favs. I like a couple of them today so watch them get beat.

    Day 2:
    Ballymore
    - Bob Olinger (L15) - Form looks solid, Blue Lord would have been an easy second in the Supreme.
RSA - The Big Breakaway (L15) - This horse has a massive engine, i just hope he jumps well and can put it up to Monkfish. Reminds me hugely of Topofthegame who got up 2 years ago in a cracking finish of this race.
Coral Cup - Monte Cristo - Henderson won the last 2 renewals and has this unexposed horse who bolted up at Christmas. 12lbs further on his back but has the right profile for this race.
Champion Chase - Notebook - An EW play, similar to how Eldorado Allen got the place money in the Arkle. They know Chacun is better but will hunt round and pick up any pieces.
XCountry - Easyland (L15) - A saver on Some Neck EW
Grand Annual - Glen Forza - Smart novice couple years ago, has had wind surgery most recent and still relatively unexposed as a chaser.
Bumper - Sir Gerhard (L15) - The owners have had the last 2 winners of this race and he looks to be special too. At a bigger price ill throw a saver on Grangee

    Day two:

1:20 - Bob Olinger 7/4 (in various multiples and ante post at 5s) & Bear Ghylls 11s (skybet money back if loses), 14s (Paddy Power free £5 bet). Reverse fc.
1:55 - Monkfish (in various multiples)
    2:30 - Monte Cristo 10/1 & Boreham Bill 50/1, Shang Tang 40/1, Garo De Juilley 100/1 ew 6 places. Combi fc/tc.
3:05 - Chacun Pour Soi 5/6 ( in various multiples and ante post evens) & First Flow 16/1 ew. Reverse fc.
3:40 - Easyland 5/6 (again in various multiples. Ante post 2/1) & Kings Temptation 66/1 ew (5 places). Reverse fc.
    4:15 - Zanza 15/2 & Sizing Pottsie 20/1 ew 5 places. reverse fc.
4:50 - Sir Gerhard 2/1 (again in various multiples and ante post 6/1 in an ew four fold that includes Galvin at 6s, Quilixios at 12s and Envoi Allen at 2s).

Highlighted ones are my scoop6/Lucky 63 attempt today.

Funny old day today betting-wise. I do fancy Mullins for a treble but not with Chacun Pour Soi - I think Lord Du Mesnil, Monkfish and Kilcruit are the 3 I'll put in a patent.

The Champion Chase just looks far too competitive to be betting odds-on Chacun Pour Soi. Sceau Royal e/w at 16/1 looks the play and Daryl Jacob can go well in the green silks in the Coral Cup on Monte Cristo. In the Grand Annual I think the ground has unfortunately gone against Ibleo so Glen Forsa might be worth chancing - wind op, down in trip and down in the handicap.
