Delighted for Sean Ó Keefe, he's a local lad to me, actually coached him at soccer (football) at under 14 level and he's a very nice young man, I know his family will be very proud, they are all apart of a small breeding operation and their most famous export would probably be Finian's Rainbow. He came a close second at the festival last year to Chosen Mate and that will mean the world to him.

So it's all over for another 361 days...

Really enjoyed this week, watching from home really took some of the enjoyment out of it and I can only imagine how great it could've been!

Finished the week with what was almost a great win on Langer Dan, would've made it even better but summed up my week by getting a place at 66's on Dallas Des Pictons :emoticon-0102-bigsm

After 4 great, fun days I'm up a grand total of £29 :emoticon-0140-rofl: Lost a lot on some favourites (Looking at you Envoi Allen, Chacun, Easysland and Elimay :emoticon-0114-dull:) but also got some huge winners, Vintage Clouds at 28's, Jeff Kidder at 80's and Flooring Porter at 18's... If I quit after Tuesday I'd have more than 4 times what I started with, but where's the fun in that! I started out with what I could afford to lose, really enjoyed myself for the last 4 days, and eventually ended up in profit (albeit, a tiny one). Dreams of what could be and what could've been are always the best part of the week and I had lots of them all the way up to last 100 yards of the festival.

Overall, a great week and am starting the countdown to next year! Also counting down to the flat season too (But keep that quiet!)...

Quilixios (25/1) and Minella Indo(14/1) won.

Eclair De Beaufeu(25/1) and Streets Of Doyen(33/1) place.

A day to remember because it will surely not be repeated. Missed the cherry of Elimay but it would have been too much maybe.

Anyone know how many places Bet365 were paying in the last race? It says 5 on their website, and also on oddschecker when you check the race time and results but I seem it have been settled to 4 places?

RP says five. Anyway, what counts is what it says on their website. Or so I think.
