You've just contradicted yourself..... "no body on here saw that coming" then "they'll be plenty of twists & turns"
I misinterpreted what you were getting at which is easily done on here. Apologies for that.. I'm glad you're in the positive camp because there are a lot in the "worry wort camp". Enjoy your day pal.
At Christmas we looked to have an outside chance of making the playoffs. We have really picked up and caught everybody with this run we are on. I do think it will be Sunderland and Hull that go up automatically, I have a feeling the momentum we have now will carry on and we'll go up as champions. Not bothered though, as long as we go up I'll be happy.
It's bizarre really, because quite a few on here had low expectations at the start of the season, but will still grumble if we only go up in second or via the play offs. My only real disappointment this season is not being able to visit some cracking days out. There's not many in the championship that take my eye, and pretty much none in the Prem.
I agree with that. I miss my away days and I had a few grounds to tick off this season which I'll miss doing, hopefully.
The most attractive day out, a weekend wouldn't be enough to take in all its delights, in the Championship this season will not be available next season as that team will be promoted as Champions.
How much do you want to wager on who will be Champions, Norwich or Watford? Or anyone else for that matter?
I always add a multiplier to a bet, based on the interest I have in the outcome, so I'll take your challenge, and bet you £10, with a multiplier of 0 (zero) for the interest I have.
Money talks, mine says "goodbye." As for games in hand, City and Burnley once had a game in hand on others...
I've loved this season, especially as an exile down south being able to watch every game. I even enjoyed watching the B-team in the Papa John's. At times, we've played some delightful football. If (tempting fate) we did go up as champions, it would be nice if the Allams could swallow their pride and push for an open-top bus parade in Hull once lockdown is over -- and perhaps invite some of those from previous promotion seasons who missed out because of the spat with the council -- plus those still living from the 65/66 team. (I've put the mockers on it all now).
Not really. Nobody honestly saw such a turnaround as the last 5/6 games have brought. If they say they did then they are kidding themselves!
