Sad to see a great club like Wigan realising all our worst fears, but no room for sympathy this weekend. Surely we need a big performance and a win from this one but they are fighting for their lives and we haven’t got that fight ourselves in the squad yet. I’m going 1-1.
It's a must win 3 in a row to be real play-off challengers. Ever hopeful, I am going for 2-1 Town. Be interesting to see if PC weeks training brings out any marked changes. More forward passes than side or backwards will be a start!
1-0 win. We've got some games that look easy on paper, but they will be a lot of teams coming up fighting to avoid relegation. We should have the quality to overcome them and keep our play off ambition in sight.
Nothing about our recent forms suggest we’re a team poised for inevitable victory. 1-1 If there was sone magic/blindingly obvious tactical, positional or personnel change I’d expect to have seen it by now. But it’s the same group doing the same ineffectual thing. they’re not really the right blend of players to do anything different. Roll on the transfer window...
Need to up our game 2nd half, very little to admire so far. Players uninspired, no real plan, only KVY offers any threat.
0-0 at the half. More energy, quicker passing and what looks like a game plan is my take from the first period. More balls into the box and more players getting into the box you can already start to see Cook's effect on the team with the patterns of play I've seen so far.
