Personally thought we missed Burke at CB more than Jones at CDM. Regan Slater was fine - Jones bullied by the forward on their goal.

If you were to go back over some recent games, we just dont hit the target at home... there weer 2 games when we were in a lull that we had something like 23 attempts and non on target... I think todays stat is 14/2... we just needed a striker to be out of sight... still, its in our hands and we cannot rely on anyone else, I just hope we dont blow autos as I dont like the thought of PO's..

That's a bit of a conflict of interests then? So,last game of the season scenario could be us or them as Champions, who would YOU be routing for?

Good result, another point to the final tally.

Scruffy game, didn't flow against the anti football Evans produces.

Created plenty of chances which is good, Greaves needs a bit of sand paper to his noggin to get rid of that square edge.
They had one chance - it happens.

Now we have Crewe away 3 points, Northampton away 3 points, Plumpton away 1 point and Larry Graysons lot at home, probably 3.
During that little run sunderland play peterborough which neither can win.

(Agent Adkins is getting his troops rallied for the sunderland and peterborough games they have).

For me, he’s an accident waiting to happen, it’s like when he runs out to the wing or the full back position. He might be tall, but his arms & legs are everywhere, he’s more likely to give away free kicks or worse IMO!

I reckon we've got a 66.67% chance of automatic promotion

It's a recurring theme this, but better the devil you almost know, then the devil you don't. Or something.

If we end up in the play offs & nothing changes with government predicted rules, will crowds be allowed for the Play Offs?

In fairness to you, your statements about inconsistency are more consistent than the team.

Sunderland have two defeats in their last 18 games. It seems odd saying it given that until last week we were on a six game winning run, but I just don’t think we perform at a level that we can do on a regular basis. When we play our best, we dominate teams, but all to often this season we’ve either relied on the opposition being crap or we’ve hesitated and it’s cost us.

I want out of this **** hole league as much as anybody else, perhaps even more so, I just don’t think it’ll be automatically and perhaps it this season. But I’m happily proven wrong and if the performance levels can be dragged up, then great.

We played well today though, and sometimes, somewhat unsurprisingly, things don't go our way. We dust ourselves down and all that, with no losses in the last seven. Our form in those games has been markedly better than Peterborough's, or so I thought.

We have won 8 and drawn 2 of our last 10 games. Only defeated 5 times in the league all season.

I'm still confident we'll go up as champions.

You're absolutely correct. City are so infuriating.
However aside from the much discussed Posh v Sunderland game, Sunderland now have to play 8 games in 25 days.
Oxford - pushing for the play offs. Posh - done to death. Resurgent Charlton. Blackpool twice (both could well be stalemates in view of number of games both have to play). Accrington - FIFA have declared this a 1-0 win to Sunderland already (see my other post) and game against us. And Wigan.

The level they will need to play at to win those (they need to win, draws will be no good) will take it's toll.
