I think gioblues has been in the sun too long.
This was a dreadful game of football. How either side actually managed to score is a mystery..... what did Wigan have on their feet - shovels ? All their efforts were put in row Z....... and, again, the opposition had ACRES of room down our left..... Oh well, it's 3 points, and it's all that matters !
    As for Star Player ???
    1. Oliver (( only because he scored -- and it was well taken )) - at least he redeemed himself, following wasting a glorious chance to lob the keeper.
    2. The steward behind the Town end goal - managed to waste a bit of time by putting a 2nd ball on the pitch when Bonham was taking a goal kick.
    3. O'Gilvie - has perfected the art of throwing himself to the ground - to win free kicks --- which O'Connor did his best ( 3 on the trot ), to throw away by kicking straight off - for a goal kick.

I didn't watch the game last night, but have seen the extended highlights.

How did Wigan not win <laugh>

Anyway, vital goal by Oliver, yet again, probably the most important goal so far as it now sits us nicely in the play-offs. So Blackpool next who sit one place below us in seventh, therefore big, big game bank holiday monday.

Every game we win from here on in, will make the next game even bigger.

    1. Oliver big man, big goal. Also close for a second goal.
    2. Jackson for the assist.
    3. can't say, the highlights don't show me enough to judge.
