Or, we haven't done very many, just done the same ones lots of times. By the way, did you know that the word galaxy comes from the Greek galaxias kuklos, meaning "circle of milk". Obviously.
The other night the very lovely Mrs Godders and I went out to take a look at the Super Worm moon. She wore Herschel which Kepler warm. She was Halley impressed.
Just watched Martin Kemp & Roman Kemp's DNA journey on ITV player. Really good watch, especially if you are stuck in the 80s and Spandau Ballet are your favourite all time band. Seriously though, a good watch.
I’m one of those saddos who enjoy watching reruns of Heartbeat, on ITV 3. I enjoy the gentle lifestyle it depicts, as well as the backing music, but I also enjoy spotting actors who go on to become quite famous in film and tv. This week alone I have seen a teenage Stephen Graham and, today, a young Daniel Craig. Yep, I need to get out.
Ok... I’ve just realised I got done with an April Fools yesterday. Ribble bikes are excellent and I nearly bought one last year, so I’m on their mailing list. Orange is my favourite colour and in my industry you can have scented plastic, impregnated almost exactly as the bastards at Ribble Bikes explained how they did it to their bikes! got me
Good Afternoon all, I have been lucky enough to have been given a place with a small charity called 'Children First International' to run the London Marathon this October (hopefully). I have avoided charity places in the past because they typically require you to raise around £2,500. I have entered and failed to get in via the ballot every time I've applied (about 14 times). Anyway, I'm blabbering on. If anyone is willing and able to sponser me it would be greatly appreciated. Every little helps so even if it's just £1 it still helps and is appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to read this and please consider sponsoring me! https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/PaulAlderton1 Just as a bit of extra background if you are interested. I ran the Bournemouth Marathon back in 2013 but I was much skinnier, fitter and younger back then and still found it a massive challenge. I've been training since the start of the year and have managed to lose 3 stone in 3 months and have about another 1 stone to go before I hit my goal weight. I'm slowly building up the distance I run to try and avoid injuries so have gone from couch to 6 miles so far (only another 20 to go). A lot of time and effort still required over the next 6 months to get fit enough to run it! But I'm really excited by the prospect, it's been on my bucket list for a long time! Cheers!
