Saw something about it being Wright but might have been just speculation around the silence on his return date before Johnsons comments yesterday. Class thread btw mate. Cheers for posting it.
Cheers again @RTB I think that with most Sunderland games from now until the end of the season are going to be twichy-bum-time. Now I'd love us to start to obliterate other teams but I think we'll see this game out with a 2-0 win (Wyke & Jones). I'm off to get some cream!!!
Things will be a lot clearer after these two games. I actually think we'll draw today. Which will add emphasis to the Peterborough games Hull are away to Crewe which isn't a given but I can't see anything other than Peterborough putting Fleetwood to the sword
Oxford seem to swing from being very good to very poor, with a losing or winning streak thrown in... So will the Sunderland who play poorly and win or well and win come up against an Oxford outfit who may or may not be up for it. Although most teams that come to the SoL seem to put in an extra effort. Could be a very tough game...all I want is a win!
The Oxford forum seems pretty positive about them getting a result this afternoon, we’re nowt to worry about if they’re on their game apparently
Ahhhh Here we go again. This season is bloody relentless. Not a must win for me but a must not lose. Oxford play good football will have a lot of the ball but they let in goals Think we'll scrape a 2-1 win with yet another manager saying they were the better team.
Fancy us for the three points today, think we'll have too much for Oxford to cope with. Few goals with a bonus sheet.
Gone for Oxford win as usual as I refuse to put the Hex on the Lads!!! I see everyone putting down for a win for us and that scares the S*^t out of me! when we say we will win or so and so will not score against us that Tw@ Murphy turns up and the inevitable happens! So in keeping with my ritual have gone for away win and will be praying and hoping I am WRONG again. Will be doing the same on Monday as well. Now off to see the Grandson and introduce him to Benno & Co on the Radio (He's 5 months old so getting him hooked on the Lads Early) Hope we're all smiling at 5 oclock... Happy Easter ALL and thanks for the thread and all the Craic on the site. HAWAY SUNDERLAND !!!! FTM!!!!
So Power back in midfield with Gooch and Scowen and Jones and McGeady linking up with Wyke. Half disappointed that AOB has dropped down to the bench as he links with Wyke really well and makes room for him but we have some good options again off the bench
With how flexible our players and formations have been i wish we would show the system rather than order it by squad numbers haha. I’ll guess 3 at the back: Burge McLaughlin Sanderson onien Gooch power scowen mcfadzean Jones wyke mcgeady good to see Jones back, surprised O’Brien misses out but could be being saved for Monday with his recent injury. Haway the lads
