I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise for the club not attracting a buyer, I fully accept it's totally my fault. In future I'll do my best to only submit posts that meet the approval of 'others'.
Oh, and of course I'll also keep coughing up my membership money every month, come what may. :emoticon-0100-smile

Stonewall penalty for the foul on Honeyman early in the second half according to McCann.

Would like to see a replay of the first penalty shout, tackle on Wilks in first half, he does appeal for a lot of pens but it looked to me like the defender might have gone through Wilks to get the ball.

On Monday a victory for us, the other two draw for me is the best possible result. Would give is 3 points on Peterborough and 5 on Sunderland.
Silly me, should really of put this in “ the run in “
    Copy and paste !!

Elder was the penalty that was awarded. The Wilks incident was earlier in the match (while still 0-0).

I think they realised he is a dangerous player and always seemed to have 2 markers on him which worked for them most of the time as they kept him quiet except when we were quick out of defence.

I think in this circumstance, a draw leaves us in a tricky position.

If they draw that leaves both being able to match our points total with their games in hand (which I know we shouldn’t mention)

And given Peterborough’s run in I think I’d prefer a Sunderland win to really try and create a bit of a gap between us two and them.

Half way into the 2nd half when it was clear Wilks was getting nothing down the right and Eaves needed hooking I wondered if Wilks in the middle, Coyle pushed up a bit and Emmanuel at right back might have worked. Any thoughts?

Thankfully it all worked out ok in the end ..... Not sure I'd have done it your way round, but yep, I was also thinking about Emmanuel too, seems such a waste to be left on the bench, especially when we're desperately needing a goal. TBF, it was a good shout bringing Crowley on and Honeyman off.

The priority is for us to get a win then what ever happens with the others would give us a gain on either one or both. Obviously a draw is best but if one had to win it’s difficult has to which because nobody knows how they are going to perform for the rest of the season. They are both doing well however one defeat can but doubts in the minds especially if we can put pressure on by getting that win on Monday. It’s another cup final we have to go and win

Sunderland still have Blackpool to play twice. That’s a couple of tough games. Blackpool can still challenge for automatic promotion.
