Very difficult times...... and the pandemic will have really affected many many people.
I started my professional career working in locked wards and a 1500 bedded psychiatric hospital.
Thankfully practices, treatments and talking therapies have really helped.

Currently it is even difficult to get an appointment with a medical professional unless it is an emergency which is especially challenging for people who need to talk to someone about thier mental health.....

I wish you well in getting through this soon......

I also hope that you and and your wife can get through this safely JT. My very brief comment relating to my friend didn't really give enough detail to present a proper picture. He suffered from clinical depression and spent two months receiving treatment down in Marseille. He came back a new man, and for eighteen months the doctors were very encouraged, slowly reducing his medication. It was over the next period that our chats took place, but unbeknown to his wife he tried to speed up the process, not taking his pills when he should. He was due to go back to Marseille for a three day check up, and said he felt really well and that he didn't need to go, but the likelihood was that they would have worked out that he hadn't been sticking to the agreed plan. The effect on his wife was bad as she felt she hadn't checked him out enough, and to come home from a short shopping trip to find him was grim. She is a strong person, and has many friends, but would like to move to a different house putting that episode behind her.

Thank you so much for sharing. Really deserves a wider audience, maybe our mods can sort something?
In the mean time I can only say that I hope things improve for Mrs J T and your family as a whole.

“I'm not able to have relationship with the fans because of Covid, but social media is my way to stay near them. It's my connection with them. I'm not sure if it is normal or not in England [for a coach to be on social media] but I want to stay near our fans.” ̃

Watched Wellington Phoenix play Western United last night. It was a home game for the Phoenix but, because of the pandemic, they are playing those in Wollongong NSW, which is about 2200km from Wellington. The temperature yesterday was 15c with wind chill bringing it down to 8c. One of the commentators on the touch line was wrapped up as if he were visiting Antarctica. Mark Bosnich, who was also commentating, was laughing at that but, as he said, he had lived in the UK for 20 years.

Scouse fans covering themselves in glory tonight - they apparently attacked the Real Madrid team coach when it pulled up outside Anfield.

    You sound surprised

Its only after the game that they will set light to it if the game doesn't go well for them

Sheffield Wednesday manager Darren Moore is suffering from a bout of pneumonia after contracting Covid-19.

Moore had missed three games in charge of the Owls because of a coronavirus infection but returned to the dugout for the club's 2-0 defeat to Swansea City earlier this week.

"I have developed pneumonia as a result of COVID-19, with blood clots on the lungs and extreme discomfort," Moore said.

I wish him well and a speedy recovery.

Just had an unexpected surprise - I tuned in to BTSport's grassroots football show to find my local Highland League side Deveronvale featuring. There'll be some excited kids at school on Monday as it featured primary school kids training.
