Oh yeah I forgot, can’t criticise the team when they’re not doing it. Have to be dead positive ALL the time. Give your head a shake man.

Fed up of being stuck in this **** division, no doubt we will head into the play offs in garbage form whilst the likes of Portsmouth go in with momentum

Can’t wait to see the back of some of these useless twats in the summer.

Very disappointing... we go again next game... hopefully take our chances, Wykes scoring touch has deserted him.

Play-offs still offer a good oid chance

But quality saves are and mis-kick falling exactly where it’s needed. (And an obvious foul on Wyke fir the first goal)

There’s a large slice of luck in both of their goals. First one is an obvious foul on Wyke, then the spin on the ball undoes the defender on the line. Second goal is a shot from the edge of the box which is the worst shot of the game... Yet it spins up off his leg and drops in front of him.

if that’s not lucky I don’t know what is

I’m not convinced we are unlucky every comment on here from nearly everybody is we start absolutely ****e every match, they want to knock that on the head to start with and then I would feel a lot more confident, but this is usually what you get from Sunderland and people who’ve been supporting them for 60 years + know exactly what I mean, on to the next match and pray a bit harder.

Hopefully this is the kick up the arse to push is over the line. Need to get Wright back in the defence and move Onien up the pitch. The top 2 will both drop points between now and the end of the season whilst this result ain't ideal its not over yet. We still have to play Hull and we have 2 games in hand over them to overhaul 8 points

Time to let the shackles off the full backs going forwards for me. Hume in to start and mcloughlin at right back until a cb comes back and onien can go there, don’t think power or mcfadzean offer anything there tbh. Might as well go for it in these games now got nothing to lose, top 2 is still achievable but performances have to improve.

... bye bye France but Brexit has ruined everything.

Confirmed play offs for me. Been poor for weeks. Today we just couldn't get it over the line.

Defence today was shocking. Like really shocking.

A poor result, but it's our 1st defeat in 15 games. Tuesday will show the true character of the squad. A win down there and we are only 2 points behind Peterborough with 6 to play. They have to go to Charlton yet.

That back 4 should start on Tuesday. When Wright is fit he would come in for Onien to move back into midfield for me.

    I agree mate.

Far too many passes between Burge and the back three that wasted more time than Charlton.

Last two games the starting team has been set up a tad too defensively in midfield and LJ has had to change things with a mass substitution.

That said, we conceded two ****e goals, whilst Charlie Wyke should have had 2 or 3 but it looks like his confidence is shot again.

Bad time to lose but this is when we need to stand up and win on Tuesday
Concerned about the number of chances we are missing
Need to start getting at teams again

Wyke is terrible if he has more than a second to think ...

... it's no good asking him to play football.
