When people talk about a team 'holding its nerve' it's invisible. But the results will show we have done when others have lost theirs.
Nice one City - I hardly aged at all during that match. Great ball by Wilks for the first goal, terrific pressing from Honeyman for the second and a superb run and finish by Docherty for the third.
But kudos for the flight down there... I'm sure it made the players feel special... I just hope the boy didnt know about it and it was arranged behind his back...
he's un-****ing himself - not there yet but we're top of the league and scoring loads of goals - what's not to like
SAFC have 3 away games . 2 of them v tough at Bpool and here. They need 6 points from these to have a realistic chance of automatic I reckon
Wish I'd had your confidence John. I feel dirty now, only had courage to vote for a draw!! Well, that was another brill, enjoyable match to watch, a professional, confident league leader’s performance, no squeaky bum moments here, made even better with Sund'nd result! 3 - nil, should/could easily have been more. Thought Plymouth looked dangerous going forward, but pretty woeful in defence. Not a bad performance amongst us, great team work, all playing for each other. Onwards & upwards, UTT. Well done Nige also!!
