People like Mills and Whelan have plenty to say about us, they can obviously see the same as everyone else, what they scared of? You can bet your bottom dollar if that was Manure yesterday, (lol I know) Keane wouldn't hold back.

Look at their goal yesterday, not looked at by VAR, then you look at our 3 this season, not a gnats najjer between them but looked at and disallowed, VAR is only as good as the people working it, and that's when you get the inconsistency, they should be held accountable, a ref misses something in real time is understandable but there should be no mistakes when you have that technology at your disposal.

My thoughts on the game yesterday.

Meslier - 7 - Didn't have a great deal to do but made saves when he needed too and came for crosses. Slipped for the goal so probably would've saved it if it wasn't for that.

Ayling - 8 - Did really well considering he was playing against Sterling and Foden for most of the game. Don't think he put a foot wrong, great display after having a few tough games since being back at RB.

Llorente - 9 - Thought he was so good today. His positioning, awareness and reading of the game is exceptional no matter who he plays alongside in CB. A header in the first half I remember being very good. One of the first names in the starting 11 now.

Cooper - 5 - Made some good blocks that stopped certain goals, especially the one where he was still on the floor. Never a red as he got the ball, is he meant to just let Jesus get to it and run around him? Harsh yellow in my opinion but if that's the way football is going then fine but why is VAR not picking up Baldock's challenge last week and giving a straight red, which was worse than Coopers, or sending off Jimenez in our first game against Wolves when he elbowed one of our players in the final minutes. Consistency of VAR has been terrible and we've not had many/if any favours this season from refs and VAR. That brings me to the ref today, gave us absolutely nothing which made the win that much sweeter.

Alioski - 8 - Thought it was probably his best game this season. Worked so hard, got stuck in and had the assist for the winner. I like that he keeps at players and doesn't give them any time on the ball. Got to admire his grit, reliance and determination which I think we'll miss when/if he leaves at the end of the season.

Phillips - 8 - Pretty solid without doing anything spectacular. Think it was his ball to let Raphinha off for his chance in the 2nd half so could've had an assist.

Raphinha - 7 - Did well defensively but was wasteful going forward. Was finding a lot of space but didn't do much with it. He's so good that when he doesn't set the world alight it's looked at as not being a great game, he's set high standards but always a fantastic watch and always creates problems. Should've scored with his 1 vs 1 but Ederson did very well. Also should've passed it through to Costa when we were breaking another time in the 2nd half as Costa would've been in on goal especially with his pace.

Dallas - 10 - MOTM. My player of the season. I've probably said this before but ever since the game against Derby in the play offs he's been fantastic and someone you always want in the side. He's so disciplined and knows the system so well. He will play anywhere, put a massive shift in and still be decent. He's been at Leeds for a long time so has been through a lot of the **** that we have so deserves it and has worked so hard to become the player he is now. I think it'll be tough for any CM we buy in the summer to get him out of the team because of this. Both his goals were class.

Roberts - 6 - Should've had an assist in the first half went the ball went past Bamdford but think Stones may have got a touch. I don't think he is as disciplined or knows the system as well as Dallas because he was leaving a man free when he was pressing sometimes. This will be Roberts, Rodrigo, Klich's or an incoming signings position to take come summer as we do need to strengthen here. Happy to keep Roberts if he wants to stay as he's had some good games this half of the season but not enough for the next level. Keep him if he signs a new contract for the cup games or send on loan but if he doesn't sign a new contract we might need to get a decent sum for him as I think his contract is up next summer.

Costa - 9 - One of his best games in a Leeds shirt. Did defensive duties when needed and played like a player that wants to fight for his place in the team. If he can play like that every week it's good competition for places and a good player for the cup games. Did very well to win the ball and pass to Bamford for the first goal and great link up play with Alioski for the winner.

Bamford - 7 - Probably should've scored from the ball from Roberts but as I mentioned earlier I think this was good defending by Stones. Nice weighted pass for the first goal and another assist. Can't ask for much more for 45 minutes and looked disappointed to be taken off which is good to see.

    Subs:
Struijk - 8 - Solid. Can't remember him doing a lot but that's what you want from a CB.

    Koch - 8 - As above.

Shackleton - N/A - Not on long enough to judge.

Bielsa - 10 - I just wanted to say a few words on Bielsa and how lucky we are to have him. Never says a bad word about refs or VAR despite some howlers this season. I love the fact that he is so humble, when we lose it is his fault but when win we it has nothing to do with him and is all the players. The more I watch how we play the more I love and understand it. Those who are not a Leeds fans think we play hectic football that's all out attack and it's far from that. It's planned, well drilled and a great system. Fantastic human and amazing football coach.

Whilst I've been writing this yet again another VAR error, Newcastle should've had a penalty for a high foot but nothing. Shocking and as mentioned earlier no consistency.

Not just that - he had some very important headers too - all 5'6" of him! He's got the best leap for a wee guy since Pele. Wish he's picked up some more of his skills. :D

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I'm finding every match so, so boring this weekend. I'm pretty sure it's because our match was so intense, engrossing & thrilling - for both teams' supporters. You can see why Manc are strolling it this year.

That match must have a lot of us thinking that we already have most of the tools available now to be real competition for the top 4 next season.

As funny as it was because it was scum, I honestly think VAR is going to kill football.

I said this before, but it's also ruining the gambling side of things. One minute you think you've won a bet the next it's chalked off. Sometimes there will be some amount of time before the decision is made. Var has ruined my enjoyment of the game, if I hadn't have put years into supporting the club, I'd have packed it in because of VAR ages ago.:(

On the other hand Shaks if you've bet on no more goals and a last minute goal is chalked off, happy days <party>

Just get rid of the whole thing and send the refs to Specsavers :emoticon-0126-nerd: it's a piss take when you have to somehow control your emotions just because of some twat in charge of VAR :headbang:

Earlier in the season I had a treble on the go, 3 wins, 2 were well in, the other was drawing and into the 90th minute, then hey presto a goal, I cashed out,as the payout was just short of the final amount anyway, goal was disallowed by VAR as I thought it would be, but still got the payout, it was a split second thing which worked to my advantage.

I'm not 100% mate but can't see how they can but you never know.
My best cash out was on a 9 team accy, paid around 2 grand, 8 were winning and the other was Swansea v Stoke at 0-0 reading the ticker, it was all Stoke , I had Swansea to win, the cash out was £400, I said to my lad what should I do, he said take it, so I did, honestly about 10 seconds later, Stoke scored.
Had 2 go for me and 2 against me this season.
