Ok. Then I didn't see any political content in his post - just responded to disrespect he exhibited to Prince Phillip's death. I notice you called him on it too.
My mistake I thought he had made the arrangements beforehand. If I have a state funeral I won’t arrange for it to be kick off time on Saturday.
It's no mistake, he had made his own arrangements - he's even had his favourite Land Rover modified to carry his coffin.
Obviously he didn't choose the ****ing date But the detail is mostly his - according to statements from the palace.
I think he means that the Prince did not actually insist on 3 pm on a Saturday . The establishment probably picked Saturday as it's not a normal working day and to allow the Hoi poloi to watch on tele .
Hull City’s final match of the League One season away to Charlton Athletic has been rearranged for Sunday 9th May, kick-off 12 noon. The Addicks, now managed by former Tigers boss Nigel Adkins, sit a point outside the play-offs in seventh and are unbeaten in their last eight matches. The match at The Valley will be available for live streaming on iFollow Tigers. wonder if we’ve won the league the trophy will be presented there... or not as the case may be !!!
This is what's technically known, in moderating circles, as a **** up. I was expecting an announcement on Saturday's game and wasn't paying enough attention. Apologies Red top reader (we can't unmerge).
