How did you guess Ninian? Add Eoin Doyle to that list.

In fairness Pilkington and Alan Lee did okay and Joe Mason was fine up to a point.

Wasn't there another one, Reden or Rodden or something? Might have been Dutch though. Regardless he was useless.

    Josh Magennis.

Though to be fair, we signed him as a 'keeper.<doh>

In fairness the lad didn't get the chance to show us what he could do. Looked very promising but badly nobbled by a Blackpool centre half. Cathcart I think.

We moved him on before he fully recovered. I think he went to Scotland first then back to England. Very much in the muscular all action type striker like Callun Wilson, Josh King and Troy Deeney. I'm pleased he has made a good career for himself. We really should have given him longer to recover.

    I agree Blue.
We throw some on the scrap heap as they start to show promise then persist with others way past their expiry date.
Have seen his name crop up regularly. He has settled at a level and doing ok.

Playing Devil's advocate here, but.............................................would you take Ayew from the Jacks if MM decided he needs a new focal point?
I know it's controversial, but the bugger does score quite a few goals and we all need someone like that. Tribal rivalries aside, we have players from our sworn enemies (Vile and Lesta) in our team and they are making a good fist of things, (no offence,Masky), so could you get over Ayew's time at the JB's?

Apparently he's on £83k a week - I saw a schedule of their top earners. Ayew not Masky although Masky could be but that's a big effort at £1 a go. <yikes> - he increased his price from 50p last year to save a bit on the lube.

So as far as we go for Ayew that's a no, regardless of his Jacks allegiance. I imagine you would have the same view on that money.

Yesterday's rumour was that both us and Swans are looking at Clarke-Harris from Peterborough who has 28 goals to his name this season. Stupid thing is we could have got him from the Gas for a song a couple of years ago. <doh>

    P.S. How's your recovery going?

I wouldn’t want him anywhere near a bluebirds home dressing room.

For his financial outlay you should be able to get half a dozen players - a mix of promising youngsters and experienced Championship players.

JCH is a marmite player, he came through our academy but never really looked interested so we dumped him off several years ago, but he came full circle back to us , then we offloaded him to the Gas. I don't know if he would respond to MM's way of coaching.
I'm doing great,Andy just using one crutch now, but the knee's still a bit puffy and the quads are a bit tight but it get's easier every day, I'm sure I'll be ready for awaydays soon hahhaha

Just reading about the 'injured 6' and when we might see them again.
Might well influence MMs recruitment in the summer.

Starting with the most emotional, Sol.
36 but wanting to play on to 40.
His health issue need to be the prime focus for him. Great to see him back in training and will be beneficial as a distraction from his treatment but will it see him back as a player. Just happy for him to be involved to help his off field challenges.

Began. Good that Mick went for the long term fix. Like Arnie, he'll be back.

Tricky one with Bennett. A serious injury with no guarentee he'll be the same player. Complicated by him being out of contract. Can a deal be struck to suit both parties and protect the club financially.
    Could go either way.

Tomlin. Always had issues with injury and fitness. No doubt we need the creativity he brings. Does it need to be in the 10 role, from deeper, or both.
Still a year on his contract. Might be time for us to cut and run.

Morrison. No need to rush him back with the season slipping away. Get him rested and ready for next year.

Vassel. Where to start? No idea how good he is as we've hardly seen him play.
Could be the proverbial 'new signing'. Could be a white elephant. Think MM needs to hedge his bets and sign another striker.
