But if you thought like that you wouldn’t be in div 1 there is a reason they have never been higher.

If they've that attitude they'll not get any further in their career. Players look for any excuse to justify their lack of ability. I'm not one who will slate players but they've had their chances and not took them. Not up to the challenge I'm afraid, and I don't enjoy saying that.

Match day thread once again wrecked by the usual suspects!!

They are depressing and it’s about time something was done about it.

    Fecking totally depressed!!

I’ll be giving the thread a miss on Saturday.

Contracts? Before now couldn't afford to replace them? Will be a different summer whatever league we end up in.

Pressure definitely plays a part at this end of the season and it looks like it’s getting to us, but let’s just spare a thought for Peterborough. They’ve spent 8 consecutive seasons in this league and are always at the sharp end come April / May but inevitably fall away when it matters.

Let’s hope history repeats itself this season and we see them drop off when it matters most and we give our heeds a shake and capitalise on their downturn in form.

I'm not giving up totally, but gutted about our collapse. Only think keeping me sane is that if we don't make it this season , surely with fans back in next season and KLD we'll romp it. (Live in hope.)

But then again , we finished bottom of championship when Wolves walked it. We got a win and a draw against them- we were only team they failed to get a win over , a d only team they didn’t score against .
    It’s a funny old game

    Evening everyone.

As per I've been at graft. How did we get on? Starting to bottle it? Unlucky? Either way, a pattern is emerging around the same time every season.

LJ brought Bailey Wright to BCFC to replace Aiden Flint, he even gave him the club captaincy. Terrible judgement.
Bailey Wright is a disaster waiting to happen, he's never a Championship player and I think he's barely L1. He loves to bully and make out he's some kind of hard man. He'll give a penalty before the season end, mark my words.
That's 2 on the bounce for SAFC, remember LJ holds the same club record with BCFC and Barnsley - 8 consecutive defeats.
Haven't heard him tonight but I'll bet, if not tonight, it won't be long before he'll be blaming players - it's never him.
And don't get sucked in with his clever football speak. Your owners will but you fans will see straight through LJ in no time at all.

Our previous owners/managers i guess mate.

No matter what division we are in, I think we'll see a radical overhaul of the squad in the summer, now we have a new owner and a new way of looking at players who fit our style of play.

It was mentioned a few weeks ago that senior players would not be here if we failed to go up and I think he will follow that through, whether we go up or not. A lot of players are out of contract and I think the vast majority of the players who have been here for 3 seasons or more will be released.

Having to make the late change due to CM injuring himself pre match , the logical thing would have been to move Power to right back as he has played there quite a lot recently . Winchester or Leadbitter to play in midfield minimising the changes , so what did we do - tried to reinvent the wheel which was wrong , Wright hasn’t played for weeks but we threw him in against a very physical team while Sanderson and O’Nien have performed well during Wright’s absence - leave well alone. LJ has done well since he became Manager but lately he has become a little bit of a tinkerman rather than having a settled side , we need to get back to basics and soon .
