I reckon they will declare around about lunch tomorrow which would set a target of 550+

5 sessions to bowl Middlesex out should be ample time.

They'll want a 500 run lead I would think. Only another session or so away so no need to give Middlesex any sort of a sniff.

Game very delicately poised at Taunton.

James Bracey finally out for 118!

    Glos 278-8, still 38 behind.

I'll still drooling at the prospect of bringing Donald in for McManus, once he's fit again. Would be our best top seven for quite a while.

Middlesex turning to Sam Robson on day 2 just sums up how one sided this match has been.

Vincey and Daws with a licence to thrill tomorrow is a tantalising prospect.

That has to be the most one sided day of cricket I have seen in a long time.

It must be one of the best positions to be in as a batsman. Complete and total freedom to go out there and play. Zero pressure, zero targets. Just go out and enjoy yourself, like you're having a game with your mates in the park.

That said, if Holland and Northeast get going themselves, and last for at least 30 mins this morning, I think Vince might not then bother with himself and the rest. Just let the two of them carry on until one of them gets out, and call it a day at that point. (Assuming they don't carry on right through the session.)

In theory it should just be a case of whether we win today or tomorrow.

Hats off to Middlesex if it's anything else!

I know that's Ian Holland's highest first class score, but couldn't Vince have let him get 150?

How many times has that been said when our top order collapses, only for the all-rounders and bowlers to save the day?
