You know Neil gets confused. He is probably looking for the number 4 bus thinking you wrote it in one of the seats.
Fair play to you. My problem is the bullshit we were spoon fed last season during the season ticket launch about bringing in somebody to take us the next level and then we were lumbered with the cheap option of Holden and even worse he was left with no time to bring in players except a player who pulled a hamstring lifting up the pen to sign on the dotted line, a player who it would appear had to arrange his own scans and operation. Until there is clarity about who will be in charge next season, I won't get caught out again by such lies and bullshit.
Does it matter who uses your season ticket? I live back in Bristol full time now and might not want to go, or cant go to some games.
when you go in the ground no one checks the ticket, the Turnstiles flashes green to say it is an adult ticket, so everyone happy. i guess if it flashed red to say concession and you are a adult walking through they may challenge
Totally agree RP Gave up watching England during the Beckham era due to the preening and self promoting 'quarterback', aided and abetted by SGE. Gave up watching the Premiership years ago, including Match of the Day due to Gary Lineker. I now also see that Dan Walker is giving up Football Focus, so I expect we can look forward to a disabled transsexual of colour whose first language isn't English taking over to make sure we're all fully diversified. I watch Championship games when I can but I get more enjoyment watching the National League on BT Sports. Proper honest football, no cheating, just 22 blokes going for it.
I know I'm probably going to open a can of worms here, but I personally thought that David Beckham, for all his brand baggage, was the last England player to pull on the 3 lions shirt who actually gave a flying fk and played his heart out. The England captaincy actually MEANT something to him and he often carried the whole team. I'll go so far as to say that my interest in the national team has waned since he was ousted by the Wally with the Brolly. His off-field investments, his money and his wife are a different debate - one may not like those, but I can't fault his dedication and commitment to the England cause. Sorry Angelic but that's how I personally feel.
The seat has been paid for. It’s yours to give away as you see fit. Maybe during the Covid epidemic things might be more tightly controlled for a while, but normally it should be nobody’s business who you lend your ST to.
Wiz My opinion of Beckham is he was decent, that's all and never of the same ability of a Charlton, Robson, Gazza and I'll never agree he was worth more than 50 caps. Great at free kicks and box entries But he wouldn't go by my mother.
i took my teams free kicks and corners. I was equal to Beckham in every respect, apart from looks, tattoos, ability and wealth.......
Agree with virtually all except for the 50 caps - think for a while he was the best we had The Greece game was probably the best individual performance I have ever seen by an England player He also had a good engine
Personally won’t renew until Know who is going to replace Ashton, who our manager is going to be and at the very least what our realistic ambitions are for next season. At present it seems like chaos. I’m sure there’s many like me who won’t renew before some of these fundamental questions are answered.
You and me both, Rolls leaving is a plus, but I won't renew until there is clarity, if I lose my seat so be it, I got conned last season by SL and his poodles lies and bullshit about bringing in a manager of pedigree to take us to the next level, it was cynical beyond belief, not again and I suspect season ticket sales will reflect that quite a few others are thinking along the same lines as us.
I’m resigned to losing my seat, I can’t see anyway enough of my questions will be answered in time. I’m disappointed at the deadline tbh, in the circumstances with COVID etc I think the dates for renewal should be much later, like you I think lots of people aren’t going to renew early and feel the club is trying to force us into a decision.
I agree with every word of that, I was scammed last season, but not again for me, normally the club is crowing over how many have renewed, very quiet so far on that front.
It’s making me question renewing at all, I’m more likely to pick and chose games, maybe use Robins Tv for other games, or not bother at all. This season I’ve not missed a game, it’s sad they’ve driven me to this point. Maybe they’ll extend the deadline if enough of us feel the same and don’t renew, unlikely , but I live in hope.
Especially given that it is being reported that Diedhiou hasn't been offered as much as he thinks he is worth by Middlesborough (they have obviously been monitoring his lazy, uninspired, useless contribution since the end of January) and we might keep him FFS, can our club become anymore dysfunctional?
