And we know exactly why, the squad is nowhere near good enough, it wasn't when he left and now it's even worse? Confounded by taking an age to bullshit and lie about the clubs intentions reference the new manager to ensure good season ticket sales, only to put an incredibly cheap option in place, who managed to bring 1 new player injured on day 1 (apparently) and several sub standard loans.

You cannot run a club knowing there is a problem at left back, knowing that your number 1 left back was injured before the season had started but still allowing your only other specialist left back out on loan and relying on an ageing non athletic replacement and when he gets injured going into the January window, do we sign a loaner to help us out? of course not, I mean why would we?, we had another ageing non athletic right footed centre back to play at left back.
Add to that a wholly unreliable right back and a midfield so weak and unproductive, that our strikers don't even get scraps to feed on.

Take your frustrations out on the decisions makers like most BCFC fans who realise the failings of the squad and at the running of the football side of the business, the same decision makers still prevaricating now. LJ couldn't polish most of these turds, nor could Holden and nor can Pearson.

The most frustrating part of all of this for me is, the minute LJ was relieved of his duties, many could see that, as always with the history of this football club, preparation going forward would have been non existent, indeed exactly how it all panned out......As RP would say.....ending in tears..
Deluded were those fans that actually thought...."now LJ has gone we will move on to the next level"....
Forward thinking would have been, that LJ managed to create stability in the Championship......we should either stay as is, or inject everything possible, with top manager and top signings to enable that leap to top two or at the very least playoff's..............Nope.....damp squid decisions giving damp squid results and progress..
    .
As it sits right now......would we have been worse off leaving as was, with anticipation of failure, the right preparations in place for such event?
Surely part of good business practice (it is in mine) is good preparation if the inevitable happens!!. I'm surprised but not shocked with SL, being the business man he is.....has been caught out yet again..
Maybe with the Pearson & Ashton saga, we will learn that he has it all planned out now!!

Because the person who was in charge was not creating a long term strategy. Mr Johnson had failed to put in place his playing identity and its supporting strategy.

Its not frustrating, its understandable, the club now has to be rebalanced.

I've only thought, and still do, that we will only move on to the next level by employing an experienced manager with the same level of backing enjoyed by LJ.
With the level of dross in our current squad, it will be a long job.
If Pearson doesn't get the backing and not able to bring in at least 5 Championship players this summer I only see a relegation struggle ahead.

The fans were not deluded at all, they were lied to and bullshitted to by the owner and his mouthpiece and IMHO it was all a cynical ploy to to sell season tickets and many fans will not fall for that old **** again.

I don't know why you defend your position by having a dig at the fans, this is all down to him, a great business but knows **** about the playing side of football, the rugby club operates without any of the interference that the football club does, hopefully the football club will adopt the same policy, a policy where he says what can or cannot be afforded, which is fair enough.

Just as an aside, I keep banging on about the club going downhill from January 2018, probably our best shot at least a play off spot and it was totally mishandled and the chance gone. From January 1st 2018 to the end of that season we won only 4 games out of 21 games FFS and if you look at our record from that date up to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, we have only won 55 games out of 155 games, that is shocking and further evidence of how poor many of this current squad actually are and have been, that is with 3 managers and countless coaches, Pearson is 100% correct when he says that too many of the squad have had more than enough chances, time to move on.
